Anyone seen any epic battles in the skies, with two Dropships in a huge dogfight ? Or two tanks dancing around each other, trying to shoot that final killing blow ? Or two LAV's racing across the map, trying to shoot each others tires ?..
Does Vehicle Vs Vehicle even exist in Dust 514 ? Because everything i seen is just Vehicle Vs Infantry... and we know how that normally ends... |

I see it all the time. Tank on tank combat is the most common. If someone brings out a vehicle it is a matter of time until someone else does too. I have seen my share of dogfights, tank battles and let me tell you it is always infantry that turns the tide. |

Yeah... but that is it.... I will love to see lots of activity around me ;
- Six Dropships engage in a huge battle for control of the skies..
- Four or Five tanks fighting for control of the center of the map..
- LAV's racing in formation trying to out frank tanks ...
Not just the " occasional " Vehicle Vs Vehicle, quick insignificant fight... |

As it is, most vehicle vs vehicle ends in seconds. I sometimes call in my railgun Falchion to take out shield tanks on open maps. 2 shots on Sicas, three to four shots on Gunnlogis. Then I recall my Falchion after the hurt has been done to the enemy team before they get a chance to strike back |

i was in a ambush battle today and it was 6 on 2 and there was basically only vehicles, they had a dropship with 2 gunners, a lav and a tank, and a guy with a swarm launcher basically all chasing my in my lav. the dropship wouldnt leave me along, luckly i was in my good logi limbus lav with 2500 amror with 40% armor resistance so for the whole battle i was just running non stop because of the dropship, by teammate was useless, i think he was afk |

Had a stalemate with another ADS pilot once. I followed him up to the flight ceiling where we've been lazily exchanging missiles with a bit of dodging rolls, all match long. Boring as hell. It was tempting to just ram him out of the sky, right until I remembered the price for a unit. My railgun tanker buddy in the red-line had a lot more fun shooting the red ADS' buddies who tried to get their dropships in the air. |

What he means is this
'I only bring out my tank when no one is looking but as soon as someone see it and scratches the paintwork i recall it because 99% health isnt enough'
I mainly use my Logi LAV these days but if i bring out my tank i generally keep it out to maximise my profit and curbstomp ppl who forced me to bring out the tank to begin with
Always a tank when i logi LAV tho so im forced to get rid of these tanks |

A Python's Perspective:
- Assault Dropship vs. HAV is all too easy, unless the tank is A) in the red line; or B) brought a friend (AV or another tank). Tanks have this cone on top of them that you hover inside of and take them out without ever giving them a chance.
- Assault Dropship vs. Dropship is likewise too easy. Regular dropships are slooooow, so it's not hard to lead them with my missiles and make it rain a little fire. I only get a little trouble if they pull back to their red line, which is a pretty prominent strategy.
- Assault Dropship vs. Assault Dropship gets really interesting. Both ships are moving very fast, which makes it hard to hit eachother with missiles. However, blasters can't do enough damage to actually hurt. It's really skill based rather than who gets the jump on who.
- Assault Dropship vs. LAV is my favorite fight. It really feels just like a movie scene where a car is being chased by a helicopter. The LAV can turn sharper, but the dropship can move faster. I've only ever had one LAV that I just gave up on, because he was driving in circles around the war barge construction installation and there were too many spots where I'd have to peel off to dodge infrastructure.

I mainly see LAVs chasing each other but it is more like a race as the turrets on them are completely ineffective against other LAVs. It generally only ends if a forge gunner or tank takes out one of the LAVs, or they get stuck somewhere. |

Everything occasionally happens. However, LAV vs LAV or dropship vs dropship is pretty slow (but pretty fun) because small turrets are terrible. |
