I knew Orca and PT SD had to be on there. what are the marks next to names? For example I don't see the relevant war point accumulation. Am I missing something?

The document was never intended to be made public the marks denote how high up the players were. Instead of redoing the list I would check the tail end 200-250 or so. Then I would hunt down x players to be removed based on how many new players entered the 250. Luckily prada is much less lazy, and keep records that can be shared with the public in a much more user friendly manner.

I can't really speak to orca or PT SD, is it possible they were near but not in the top 250? Looks like neither of them are in it now.

No me and PT SD and Orca made the first list for subdreddit. and at the time I told Orca I knew it must be us on there. I saw subdreddit now has none on the top 250 and I remembered that conversation. Orca plays minecraft more now, but he still plays dust sometimes, pt sd hasn't been on dust since uprising hit sans a few exceptions. And I'm now in Teamplayers but I miss the cool cats in subdreddit.

Perfect! One other thing. It seems you're basing the top 250 off of warpoints, which makes sense. One thing that would be an undertaking, and one that I'd be willing to contribute on, would be adding the dimension of the top 250 players based on kd spreads. But not just the K/D spread listed on dust.

Chew on this. If you had the data on how many kills a person had when you recorded their kdr and warpoints for the 5/12 data you could divide the kills by kdr and come up with deaths on 5/12 and then do the same process on the data newly dispersed one could glean their average kdr over the month. This would be a truer kdr (no resting on laurels) and based on the data collected by other we could quickly prove who is the best currently. Thoughts?

P.S. can I haz the 5/12 data?

I took a 6 week break from all gaming because my hobby was getting a bit out of control killing my studies, social life, and really kicking up my depression. I am planning to cut back my production at least for a while because I have a rather addictive personality. I doubt I will ever be able to compete with my previous level of production, but I still want to be involved in this community and the dust reports team. I won't be setting any more hard deadlines for myself to avoid 4am nights on photoshop, but hopefully I'll have some cool stuff in the near future.
