A perfect example. I joined a squad of randoms in a match and they started complaining about Tactical ARs. I mentioned that they had been rebalanced about a week ago and only one of them knew this.
CCP, you do a pretty good job of keeping players informed of what is going on with the game, but only for the small percentage of players that check the forums. You also make lots of important changes and updates to the game during regular down times, but again, many don't see this. It makes your game look bad. It makes much of your hard work go unnoticed.
You implemented a great loading screen with news and update windows, but they never change. It makes it look like nothing is being done to improve the game.
You have an in game mail system but never use it to broadcast special events, critical changes or anything.
Finding ways to communicate with players through the game will go a long way towards improving player perception of the game as a constantly growing and changing experience. |

This needs to be addressed. No more stealth changes to the game, please, CCP. When you make an update, make some patch notes! |

Remember the templar event? I was wondering why they didn't update the news and update window. Communication isn't their strongest point...
But when new AUR items come out, man you should see my big tele in my warbage which only seems to broadcast adds. Maybe that AUR conspiracy guy was right... |

I agree with the motive here, but I highly doubt most people will read that huge list of patch notes. There will always be people who complain first and think second. |

But if there's a huge list of patch notes available, people won't have any excuse. More information should be available in game whether people want to pay attention or not. |

People, really, already don't have any excuses and yet they still do complain. It would be nice to have more info in game, but Dust is an online game, these forums are online. It really isn't hard to take a look every once in a while. |
