Samsung TV supports 720p no higher, its about 5 years old Using HDMI cable Game mode: ON Input mouse and keyboard Mouse R.A.T set to 3200dpi
Im still getting choppy frame rate
My conclusions
The DPI on the mouse is set so high that the frames cant refresh quick enough? Game is supposed to be run on 1080p supported TV thats all i got
Could some give me some advice and school me with this matter
Regards

Hey I could be wrong since I don't know all the nighty-gritty about how all the pieces interact, but your TV being at 720 shouldn't have an effect on frame rate, nor should your mouse's DPI.
Frame rate is based entirely around what's going on with the device that's doing the processing (the PS3). There has been talk around the forums that you can go into the system settings on the PS3 and manually set it to put out a lower resolution and/or adjust the scaling for the image, and that that will even out the frame rate. There's a lot of different opinions on how much that actually helps, so I can't really give a perfect answer here, sorry.
Here's a quote from a corp-mate of mine regarding the issue:
Eskel Bondfree wrote:In your PS3, go to Settings -> Display Settings -> Video Output Settings. Chose your connector type (mine is HDMI), in the next screen select 'custom' instead of 'automatic'. Then uncheck 1080i and 1080p (and even 720p if you like), and confirm all settings.
However, even when selecting 720p explicitly, the game feels a lot laggier to me when the screen scale is set to 100 in game. Reducing it to 50 or 0 makes everything feel much better. This is on my HD PC monitor, and no upscaling option I know of is enabled on the PS3.
That's all I know. Hope it helps! :) |

That certainly gives me some options to explore and play around with so im truly grateful
A bit of an update from my last post, ive found that when on a particular map where by you are in a dusty/sandy indoors environment and when the bullets really start to fly frames will drop considerably more.
This is to be expected when alot is going on in one place i suppose.
I recommend CCP carry out a stress test involving the parameters ive just mentioned and record frames, BUT that would require giving the players access to the test server unless they want to do it internally.....
Again my gratitude for that info 07 |

shouldn't have to be forced to play on ****** 480p, might as well bring back codex. I have nearly zero framerate issues on my TV now that I have the ps3 set at 720, even in PC. You can also try adjusting your servers in game. In game there is an option for what servers and it's autoselected, I set mine to US servers and have been doing great. Obv set yours for whatever region you're in. |
