So I was looking into the idea of starting a CUST corp. at some point in time so this is more of a rookie CEO type question.
I've read up on the details of PC, the reinforcement timers, planetary installations and what not. Mainly, I am wanting to know about the financial and character aspects of it.
I have a few characters so I've been trying to figure which one would be best to make CEO. Can ISK be transferred around freely enough between corp. and characters that I could make a low SP alt. a CEO, whilst playing my main. This may seem a really simple question or not, I'm just not sure if there's currently some mechanic or a lack of one which makes running a corp.from a lightly played alt. a problem.
Any CEO feedback is greatly appreciated. I want to thoroughly understand the options I may be stepping into. |

Huge ****er response: "You spelled DUST wrong."
Actual Ghost response: I honestly don't really know much about being a CEO. I own a corporation on an alt, but only thing I've done (Lack of players), is transfer money. Just go to 'My Corp' and press Donate. Once you get some people, you can select them, and transfer money to them. :)
The PC stuff I kind of confusing to me. I should find a guide somewhere... Anyone got a link? |

Hah, I fixed my typo. It was very early when I posted this
Here's a good resource for Planetary Conquest
My main reason for wanting a character I barely play to be the CEO is so I can only use SP on him for corp. skills and to allow for any possible future skills that may come out in that category.
Also If I leave that character in that Isolated role I want to be able to continue to move funds to him if need be. I guess all of this will be implemented at some point. Any financial pointers are welcome though. Tax rates, Merc bonus payouts, anything really. |

You'll find it extremely difficult to start up a corp and go straight into PC. You need a team of 16 very good players on at pretty much all times. |

As I look around that seems to be the general census. Maybe for now I'll just focus on finding people and squads to play with in a more casual sense in Faction battles. As fun as it sounds in theory the reality of ensuring people are ready to play 24/7 isn't something I would want to do.
Maybe by the time I find enough of a group to run with there will be the whole contract system in place so a few people up to a squad can easily have a part in PC. |

If you get some friends together and start running FW matches, then eventually you might well build up a large group of people you trust to be competent and then you can all go make your corp. Possibly. |
