How many 'experts' know they are experts though? What qualifies them? Does it mean they can survive multiple rounds? Make profit? Maintain positive kdr if possible? Countless hours spent in the seat of the things?
The only reason why I continuously trash talk majority pilots because the lot of you are extremely easy targets and can solo most folks with crappy militia/base gear. Then there is the silent majority, people I never see on the forums but see in the game, and they give my AV abilities a real run for their money. |

Yeah I been trying to talk to CCP about the war point system no ETA. >-<.
Also what I find that really sucks is that ADS and DS controls are worlds apart for me. |

Actually from what I understand its rather harder from the design point of view than implementation. |

Lmao, that's because you're using standard AV, about the only AV that's currently balanced against dropships. I swear.....
It doesn't stop me from seeing a dropship pilot outfly a swarm launch from a wkyromi. Plasma cannons are weird acting sometimes they do a crap tonn of damage and most of the time nothing.
The only Fired AV weapon really out of tune however I feel awful for every pilot who has to face the proto forge gun of any variety because of the alpha and subsequent shots deal so much damage that many slow vehicles that get fired on DO not have time to react. Where as with swarms majority of the time it is not too late to react and avoid subsequent hits. When being attacked by the forge gun you're either lucky and the guy shooting you is desperate and not planning his kill zone properly or you turn on your defenses and hope to get out of the kill zone quickly enough. |

Dren is base level still and not always on par with real military gear. |

If I had to fix vehicles its going to be a clean slate approach none the less not numbers bumping and bumping because I been here long enough to know that has not been working. |

When being attacked by the forge gun you're either lucky and the guy shooting you is desperate and not planning his kill zone properly or you turn on your defenses and hope to get out of the kill zone quickly enough. Yet that same dropship that's flying away from swarms is being completely useless to his team. The fact they even made an Assault and now Bomber variants show that CCP is taking the lazy way out. Instead of giving us proper air vehicles, they're just tacking on more placeholders. The dropship is clearly not designed to assault things, yet that's what we've been reduced to. Instead of giving us gunships or actual new assets, just slap bandaids on the amputated area. I AV enemy dropships with my own because it's way more fun and far more effective, and costs me about 1/20th the cost. While forges are certainly an issue (I kill assaults with militia forge when I'm too lazy to call in my ship to ram them), railguns are the true culprit. I hate that I was forced out of my favorite way to play DUST thanks to half assed balancing and a years worth of dropship abuse. But you know, lets add an anti air HAV, since dropships are so overpowered.....
All AV has to be useful enough to drive off and discourage vehicles in the area and kill anything that doesn't have second thoughts about punching in further.
Vehicles however should be designed in such a way that they could forgo the run away and come back option and be able to 'deal with it' and take out light amounts of unserious AV.
If they don't we're going to wind up with the invincible tanks that just didn't give a crap what you shot them with they just plow through and kill everyone.
I do agree however that vehicle presence near the front lines needs to be more prevailed and better recovered especially when properly supported. Vehicle operators need to get rewarded for their efforts and overall quality of life of vehicles needs to greatly improve.
This is why I vehemently opposed the super 'resist' shield from having 5 minute cooldown time. |

Why don't we see the rest of them more often? I only ever see Kain and IWS. Now and then you see Nova and Jenza comment... but yeaaaa. The moon and stars have to align perfectly to see this.
Where's Caz, and Hans? I don't know HOW some of these people got elected to CPM when they have next to NO community presence.
Anyway, just voicing an opinion.
Caz is french and I think he runs the WTF website forums but he does leave comments in the councilers chambers quite often.
Hans talks with CCP for the group he has contacts and knows many of the ccp faces personally and uses most of his time trying to get things going internally.
Nova is in a similar position but in a different angle and different goals, he also pod casts and has his own group of people he talks to.
Jenza and Kain are busy running things in their alliances and members of their alliances approach them often with things.
I am the least occupied of them and since nobody wants to talk to me I guess I have to force myself to talk to you guys. |

Caz speaks english good enough. I've heard him and seen him here a couple times. Hans... literally seen him once or twice. So he has contacts in CCP, that's the excuse you're making? Jenza busy with alliance? I thought CRONOS give up. Kain still pops up he's a CEO as well. Tbh though, these people that not having a community presence is not our problem, but theirs if they plan on running again for a CPM spot, especially if they're relying on the votes of the community.
Yes I know Caz can speak english, he hangs out quite often in the cpm chambers answering cpm related topics, I am just saying hes probably far more active in french players than english players.
Its not my problem that there is low forum or perceived community presence of the CPM, I can't force these guys on the forums, and I don't exactly keep track of them to give you all a progress report on what they are doing now. One of them somewhat loathes the forums because the amount of lauding caused.
I am glad and you should be too that Hans is on the CPM, the work he does so critical that without him... well I can imagine worse off things for everything as a whole. |

Kain - Heavy Nova - Knifer Jenza - Heavy Hans - Heavy IWS - Omni Caz - ??? Lol, thank you for highlighting your low awareness. I would say NONE of those descriptors are correct, aside from Kain.
Would and will are two different things. Also None is a far cry from confirmed known half. |

I stopped using them when I realized they were bugged :(. I was also never good with them but I have seen plenty of good cqc use of them and siege/suppression use.
I am hoping you guys will appreciate the developer work to fix the desync bug fix though hopefully that should make your lives easier for the long range shots. |
