Please no events. Some of us don't have the time to play all day, just give us like 50k SP.
Thanks. |

My god. Such needy people here. One minor downtime and all of a sudden the players start demanding all of King Midis' Silver. |

Apparantly some folks still haven't grasped why it requires so much Sp to skill up and why it takes so long. The reason is to secure the game's longevity. It is not CoD, this game doesn't have a sequel coming every year. If you skill up the first year, then what will keep you playing after that? Cuz once you skill up you will think "yay i'm done, i'll do some tournies and look for the next shooter." DUST isn't like that. You are never going to cap all these skills, CCP doesn't want you to. |

There is no finishing, beating, winning, or ending the game. It goes on forever, henceforth so does skilling. It never ends, and you will never be done. I fully agree with your sentiments. But at the same time, the grind is the only thing that a lot of people have for motivation. We need more content to distract from the grind. This is why we have people that AFK and why some don't even bother logging in. |

But it wasnt one "minor", it has been 3 outages with two occurring on weekends.
When you also have a game like this where some want to get all possible SP they can acquire these outages can be very frustrating. Last night was one of the only times this past week I had a chance to play (for an extended period) and was looking to at least reap most of my bonus SP but was unable to.
I am not going to go around demanding this and that but really they could easily acknowledge this and throw us a few things, even if it doesnt fully make up for what we missed out on. |

Just like Eve Online, the only way to "win" in Dust is to quit. When you have nothing left to accomplish, you have no more reason to play. Dust will always have something new to accomplish. |
