Question 1: When the new PS+ subscription model goes lives and requires players to buy PS+ to play multi-player games, will it affect Dust players as well? I presume yes, but want clarification.
Question 2: Will players be able to play Dust on the PS4? Since the client is specifically built for PS3, will the client be streamable from the cloud?
I think these are fair questions, since it can affect the players of Dust. |

They did say payed subscription is required for all multiplayer, not any. This is actualy a good thing. It means games like battle feild 4 with 128 players can have dedicated servers that don't have to come out of the developers pocket, while games that are hosted on the ps3 and mmos can be played with out.
This broadens the types of multiplayer ps can support..............as long as sony doesn't abuse it. |

I'm pretty sure Dust Will remain free to play.
Since it's an online only game, it would make most sense for it to be played online without a subscription. |

I agree completely, I'm not even concerned about it for myself, I'm already a + member, but many people play PS over XB because they don't have to pay to play. I also, as I stated, think that people will have to pay to play Dust. However, that doesn't mean that there isn't some sort of backroom deal between CCP and Sony concerning the pay 2 play model. |

It only means that if that is where the money is going. If it isn't, its just blatant money-grubbing. If it is, then it's stealing money from the customers to have to force them into paying for their internet which they already pay for, and stealing from the developers because they make a profit from subscriptions. Look at all the F2P games coming to PS4. Could you hazard a guess as to why? What moron is going to pay for their internet, AND Sony's bs pass to use their internet, AND a subscription fee for a game that you can't play if you don't keep the other two payment plans going? |

I think somebody said CCP is supposed to be involved in E3 tomorrow. The whole playing multiplayer on the PS4 you do need a PS+ membership to be able to do this. CCP has nothing to do with that. To play their game you will still need + mebership (if it goes to PS4) Will have to wait till tomorrow to see if CCP is at E3. |

While they will be there, that doesn't mean that they are there to talk on stage. They could just be running a booth for Dust/EvE. |

Well than I guess that would be their loss. There is a lot of Dust community that want answers or information for the future of this game. I have a feeling that if we don't get some information a lot of us are gonna find other games to commit to. There is quite a selection coming our way. |
