We need daily achievements to keep this game fresh. Just like getting new equipment in bf3 you do so much of one thing you get rewarded with isk aur or equipment |

This is not a game based on instant gratification, it is about time and dedication. There already is a reward for playing daily and past the weekly cap, it is called sp. It may be slow earning past the cap but it still is earning. The reward isn't daily because it means more when you have to work harder for it. Finally getting that prototype drop suit after a month of effort means more than 3 new guns a day which you get all of in month (like bf or cod). This game is about the long term potential, hence CCP's 10 year plan. So unless daily rewards are almost meaningless, they would hurt the long term mind set of the game. If they are almost meaningless then there is no point because they will just become "a chore and stale" like many already insist the game is. New content is coming, that is what will freshen up the game. New game modes, new weapons and equipment, PvE, etc. |

I don't know about ISK, AUR, or that sort of thing.
However, I think internal achievements would be a clever thing to build-in with integrated stat-tracking. Kinda like Fallout New Vegas tracked kills with certain types of weapons, pistols, certain kinds of deaths, etc.
Rather than reward ISK/AUR, I think SP rewards would be better. Completing achievements on the low end might be worth 1000SP (for something like 100 Assault Rifle kills), later tiers could be closer to full battle rewards - 5000SP, 10,000 SP (for 500 or 1000 kills with remote explosives respectively, and the like).
It could provide an extra incentive and means of getting SP outside of the weekly cap. If you know you need to get 12 more null cannon hacks off, or 50 more assists to get a few thousand SP - not so bad. |

i've been thinking of maybe a weekly contract thing, where you can pick up varying levels of contracts, and maybe earn some extra ISK when you actually complete them, but i doubt those are actually gonna be around for any time soon, since we'd need some kind of more Open World scenario for those... unless you wanna go do player made hit contracts to kill off some poor slobs |

I understand but you have to remember not everyone wants a long term game. Some people need short term and instant gratification. I love this game. But you also have to take in to consideration that this game is free to play and cost money to make. I order for this game to work and last without ccp losing anything they need to make this game for everyone. Whether long term or short. |

Not waiting 10 years for a good game when I can wait 6 months. |

You know even if ccp didn't wanna put work into that allow the CEO of a corp be able to have in game objects other then a.b.c.and d. Make it like mag or even killzone. Wile the game is going on add the warzome game play and if you or your team secede reward them with extra skill points or isk or even equipment. |

As much as I don't want this game to turn into RuneScape (who gets the reference!), it seems like a good idea. Maybe get that annoying voice in the pre-game lobby to announce it in your mercenary quarters every time you log onto the character? "A reminder that suicide in public areas is strictly prohibited. However, suicide on the battlefield isn't. Kill yourself 2 times in one battle to complete today's daily Mercenary Challenge." (Obviously a troll one and should not be considered real.)
Exio out.
Hey, did you need that? "Need what?" *headshot* Your life. |
