Someone used a LAV and jumped out of it as it was scraping alongside my HAVs back end while at the same time I was rolling backwards at max speed. The LAV took out half my shields through multiple collision damage before it blew up, making me easy pickings for his three man squad of forges.
CCP, you owe me 2.5 mil for the loss due to faulty collision damage.

well you did run over a vehicle, they do tend to explode when that happens.

What happened above it was impact damage, much like the damage you receive when going over steep terrain. this is what caused massive damage. |

OP, how long have you been playing?
This has been going on forever and nobody has ever gotten one ISK back much less 2.5M.
Regardless of the LAV a Team of three forge gunners meant you were going down.
The LAV just distracted you and maybe shortened your time before being forged gunned to death. But with three of them after you it was seriously going to happen. |

Yep, run into a LAV and it will do damage when it dies.
I hit one with my tanker alt, fortunately a armour tank. Idiot blue dot barrels along road in LAV towards me and completely fails to notice MTB rumbling along. POP, shields all gone and idiot blue dot 'clone died'. Vehicle made a nice explosion too.
You would be amazed how often idiot blue dots in LAV's run into their own sides tanks and suicide. Must be a LAV driver thing. |

Yesterday i saw a HAV drive full speed into and over a LAV and backed back over it 1 more time after that, the LAV took NO dmg.
and the dude sitting in the LAV jumped out of it and AV'ed the tank, jumped back in his LAV and drove of. LOL |
