Here is what I am working with as far as my build and core skills. If you have any suggestions besides eat a flux grenade, than please share your ideas. I have really been enjoying this build and it has taken me a minute to adjust, but I believe I am ready for the long haul now.

Lowrate it is fantastic to see that you are branching out towards a unique character. I try to do the same with the Amarr assault. Some people say that it doesn't match up with the caldari mediums but I beg to differ. You make that suit really look appealing.
I wonder what the max is on that suit. My guess would be anywhere from 82-86PG. The Minmatar can get some pretty good shielding numbers, and I like how you balanced your PG by using rechargers to save some for your level 9 Ishakune sub. That gun is awesome for 1v1s.
The only suggestion I could even fathom is trying to totally max PG and CPU, and then crunching in those weapon proficiencies that will benefit your fitting. Lowering item PG and CPU usage.
This is how I'm taking my refit. I'm sticking with the amarr because their CPU and PG output is so outstanding. Im goin racial proto with kinetics, shield extenders and maybe a complex recharger. Still tho I can run a lvl 10 Duvalle, and I use flaylocks to give me pg room for the best nanohive support. Core or fused locus grenades for shitstorms.
I would love to see a minmatar run with two complex cats on the right with a descent number of complex shield extenders. The catalysers use very little CPU but a lot of PG. about 15 per. This would put your suit a little over 9.2 Meters a second, and that could definitely get you nice and close for the Ishukune so you can put a 100 rounds where it needs to be really efficiently. As for the main weapon that you have, you just might not need it. See I like how you are secondary weapon focused, because you can be eextremely versatile with things like swarm launchers, shotguns or even a tac rifle to have both extremes. Either way I think by changing your main weapon to something less CPU consuming will allow you to put more of what you want in other slots.
Great fit, I give it a 9/10. It looks about finished. Versatile, fast, and very survivable. If you were just a tad bit faster, you could probably dodge a lot of bullets.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish with the Min. suit that the Caldari doesn't have to offer? I'm not biased, I used the Min. proto suit since the first day of Uprising (with pretty much the exact same loadout as you), but with the respec I switched to Caldari. I sat down and did a ton of number crunching, and the Min. suit is inferior in every way except movespeed/stamina, which is negligible.
What was your motive for skilling Sidearm Operation to 5? If it was for CPU, you could have skilled Explosives or Light Weapon Operation to 4, for slightly less SP than the cost of getting Sidearm Operation from 4 to 5, and received a total of 9% CPU reduction instead of the 3% you received from choosing to upgrade Sidearm Operation from 4 to 5. Also you're not exactly short on CPU in your loadouts, so why use that SP for CPU crunching anyway?
You say you don't need Submachine Gun Ammo Capacity because you get a bonus for it. Well, the Min. suit bonus and that skill work differently, so you would actually benefit in a different way if you spent SP on that skill.
Hope none of this was offensive or anything, just constructive criticism. I put a lot of time into my loadouts and skill planning, so I'm just trying to help :P |
