More and more often, I find myself the militia dropship pilots who crash into the assault and logistics dropship, causing both to fall in an inferno of fire. while it is amusing, I find that the advanced pilots should not have to worry about a crash. tanks, for example, tend not to explode when the lav decides to ram him. and why don't I see the suicides on the ground, with an exploding vest to take out the clearly better-skilled players. I think that to counter this, both ships should take damage equal to the lesser dropship's remaining HP. this would allow the bigger, and better skilled player, to survive contact, or allow the suicide to be a final blow, after a team drops the Hp. Resistance points should still apply, and affect the total points lost. |

with all the other crap, imbalance, and bugs DS put up with some of us forget that for a mere 100k isk someone can also 1 shot any multi million SP/ISK ds for the lawls.

I still find it unfair that every other vehicle got a Buff while we actually lost Hp due to the skill change. but I still find myself avoiding death in close encounters, until an Rdv / Dropship ruins my day.
I am forced to raise my armor to survive militia impact, and is quite hilarious to see the viper fall from the sky, but now I am even weaker to the forge guns who can already 3-shot me. |
