I really dont get how can this game be anywhere near a balanced game. I just get confused when people say to CCP to balance the ****.
- You have a fully customized character, with tons of loadouts before battle, how the hell can CCP balance that?
- You have a fully decked out Vehicle that is fully customizable with different moduls to fit your play style, how the hell can CCP balance that?
- You have tons of different moduls that effect your dropsuit, or weapon in battle, how the hell can CCP balance that?
- To all the players who think CCP can think they can balance something ingame, bahahah... That would be the day... Anyways please ask yourself whoever thinks something in this game can be balanced, and post back in this thread... All im saying is that the weapons and dropsuits are fully customizable, anything you add or subtract to or from it, effects the damn thing... And personally whoever says balance something, I really think you are slow..

This game isn't as customizable as you seem to believe. Ultimately most dropsuit upgrades are inconsequential and amount to a matter of seconds extra survived under fire. Similarly most weapons are identical within their own classes and apart from each other vary only in their effectiveness against armor and shields.
Dropsuits and vehicle fittings need more or less minimal attention so they aren't obviously over powered. The only things they truly need to focus on for balance are weapons since it's their effectiveness and damage that ultimately determines how balanced dropsuits and vehicles appear. |

Your arguement of a "customized character" limiting balance ability is flawed. There are several things that work, and a lot of things that don't.
Quite simply 2 things that are far from balanced Tanks V's AV, shield vs armor. When things like this exist the customization of your character becomes limited, you have to stay with-in a mould or be weaker.
Coming in with HTFU is as ignorant as it can be. The game should still be in closed beta, with the mis-match and loopt stats there are left right and center. |
