you and me both, but think of it like this. you I and everyone else needs to sell off crap. with all of us pushing to sell that will drive prices down on all but the rarest goods. now lets say a smart cookie realized all of this ahead of time and during the mass sell off bought like 2500 proto dropships and 1500 proto lavs at rock bottom pricing, he is screwed out of his cash for like a year while the demand catches back up to the demand but when it does he slowly starts to sell off these items and gets massively wealthy.

A player driven market (where you can buy and sell items on DUST, and between DUST and EVE) is not coming for more than a year.
However, CCP has said they are working on instituting a player trade option (trading items directly from player to player on DUST, no EVE interaction and no market interaction) as soon as they can iron out the mechanics of how to make it work - so in the next major update or the one after.
(the update coming sometime this month is not a major update, just a version update) |
