I've got my sensitivity maxed and still have trouble tracking targets even at medium range. It's really messed up that ever since Uprising I perform better using the DS3 than I could ever hope to with the mouse. Honestly it feels like the iron sight is being pushed away from what I'm trying to aim at (I do have aim assist off even though it's under the DS3 controls and not the mouse controls) |

The PS3 can't handle all the information from the mouse when DPI is turned up very high. But ok now i'm taking it as a fact that you'r using a mouse you can actually control the DPI on. If that's not the case well i don't what's the problem. I'm running around 90 in sensitivity and 100 is way to much for me i'll use most of the match flickering all over the place and 80 is just well a bit slow as i've gotten used to 90. So DPI down, maybe a better surface for your mouse (you probably already got a good one)
I'm not having any troubles at all tracking people. Don't compare this to a regular shooter on PC otherwise you'll end up sad. |

Don't have a mouse with adjustable dpi. I'm not comparing it to a PC shooter; I'm comparing it to the previous build of this game
It's only ADS that feels off; when I'm close enough for it, I have no problem staying on target firing from the hip. |

Sensitivity reduction during ADS is deliberate im sure. This allows for more precise aiming.
I generally like that function. But I do notice problems ADS with the scrambler pistol. Like I can track just fine, until I shoot. When I shoot in ADS with the scrambler pistol, I stop tracking for a brief moment. But when I fire from the hip, I can shoot and track at the same time. It's upset me on more than one occasion. |

I agree with you on that and the reduction of sensitivity works fine on the DS3. I'm glad it's there otherwise it would be all over the place when ADS but for the mouse it doesn't work as well. |

im not really sure if i have a problem with using the mouse and keyboard yet. The keyboard (besides some of the ******** control choices and the lack of rebinding functions) seems ok. i use the controller for the menus though....
anyway, as far as the mouse goes, i find myself wondering if i am slow. or if i am a jedi, seeing things before they should be happening or something. It does seem rather sluggish.
And sluggish is very much the understatement of the century when it comes to turrets. If i go onto a stationary large turret....im essentially eroding my desk away trying to get the damn thing to turn. ITS SOOOO SLOW! on the controller its fine, but the mouse makes me looking like im trying to make fire in my room here. Why is that? this applies to 800, 1200, 1600 and 2000dpi settings. its all the same.
also, one more thing. why is it that on the controller you can spring from crouch, and on the keyboard you can't? the number of times i have been killed because i hit SHIFT and im am still in crouch is just crazy, annoying and kinda unfair. It has been like this since the beta build and it still hasnt been fixed. The controller issue with this was fixed fine, but the keyboard players still suffer from it.
I propose a couple of things to resolve that last one. Have a TOGGLE on/off option in the settings, so that a keyboard player can choose whether then want a toggle crouch, or make it so that you cant sprint from crouch on a controller. unless of course it can be resolved like the controller issue with this was. |
