Hi! I play a lot of shooters on ps3, bf3 being my favourite. Wanted to ask you could you please send this idea forward to the devs, the problem is that ever since mouse and keyboard appeard in Dust 514, dualshock isnt competetive against players who plays by mouse and keyboard. So I'm not against anymore on mouse but could you please make combo controls with move navigation controller and mouse, make it customizable so i can customize both navigation controller and mouse buttons so i can correctly set controlls. Having dualshock in one hand is a bit heavy and tricky. So please enable navigation controller + mouse custom setup (I have ps3 attached to my tv in living room so keyboard is a problem to me). Navigation controller + mouse is a win win situation for me. And I dont know any reason why it wouldnt work that way. Make it customizable and it would work, and give hardcore gamers like me even odds against those who play with mouse and keyboard. Keyboard is a problem for me, I got a mouse that works on all surfaces but having keyboard on a sofa is unpractical. I'm sure that others will play with nav controller + mouse if it will be supported. And it's the right way of playing Dust, cause by that you still have a little of dualshock rumble in left hand (nav controller) and a precision of a mouse in the right hand. So please, it would be a nice gesture if you would incorporate this in Dust 514. I would certainly start to play it more. Thank You in advance! Your loyal Eve Online and Dust 514 player. |

I would also like a control scheme like this. The navigation controller would be much better for movement than the keyboard. |

As someone that started playing with the mouse and keyboard; that's a load of bs. Might have been true in Chromosome but ever since Uprising hit the mouse has gone to hell. I had to switch to the DS3 to perform anywhere near as good I did back in Chromosome.
Not that I'm against your suggestion. Just pointing out that the quoted statement is not true. |

I'm just sayin I've been playin killzone 2, 3, battlefield bc2, bf3 and no issues while playin on dualshock, I'm always in top three places, but comparing my gameplay with mouse and only dualshock, there's noticable difference, at least in my score. Dont know but with mouse I am better in Dust. So combination with navigation controller and mouse would be OK for living room setup. Especially nav controller is nowdays 10 Gé¼ new. And also I bought cheap but good mouse also around 10-15Gé¼ that works on all surfaces. Its a cheap and efficient setup, at least for me, definetly more enjoyable cause you could get vibration feedback of enviroment (explosions, etc.) in nav controller.
P.S. It would be also cool that they produce official Dust mouse with dualshock like effect in it. That would really simulate recoil. Just a thought.
I'd be happy just that they implement nav + mouse. |

IIRC you can do this by turning off all of the other controllers except the navigation controller.
If that doesn't work you can still use the left half of the gamepad and the mouse. |

Yes, but no custom mapping, I've got double aim button (on nav and right button mouse). Nav controller is being treated like its with move regardless of is move on or off, and playin with dualshock in one hand is ackward, cant jump and move and other problems. |

And also, I think its not impossible to custom map controls; dualshock has 16 buttons (not including ps button), nav controller has 9 (also not including ps button) and you need 4 button mouse (righ-left click and middle click excluded). I have fairly simple mouse with 4 extra buttons (2 on side and additional two on wheel - left right tilt), but there are also lots of mice that have easily 4 extra buttons. This can only be done through custom mapping, which I believe isn't a problem. |
