For those of you currently in PC, must orbital strikes come from EVE players exclusively in that game-type or are there still warbarge precision strikes as well? |

Most people actually use the War barge strike cause it doesn't take forever to be called in, the delay with Eve OB's is too long. I havnt seen an EVE OB in a PC game in a couple weeks. |

I honestly don't even much like the notion of warbarge strikes in FW. It's fine in Instant Battles, but if a EVE pilot can be there then it should be encouraged more. |

I feel that CCP still wants the game to be able to run independent of EVE, but that independence will dissipate as DUST moves to lower and lower security space. By doing this, they ensure that groups that have decent DUST backings but are just beginning to get a place/recognition in EVE have a place to begin their interaction without being crucified for a current lack-there-of. At the same time, groups that have already amassed strong EVE and DUST backings will have a place to completely enjoy all the benefits of these arrangements and increase their immersion into this universe. |
