I would love to dedicate myself to keeping a tank alive with my Rep tool, but I feel discouraged because of the lack of reward.
I know there are other things too that don't give WP that feel like they should. I guess I don't see why stich a simple thing was not coded onto the game. If someone lows n please enlighten me.
Also, I know I'm not the only one who wants the logi bugs fixed: sometimes not recording WP for triage, and super buggy nanite injecting. |

WP for vehicle repping got removed a long time ago because people were abusing it to boost for points (damaging their own LAVs by ramming into a wall and then repping them for points repeatedly). It was supposed to be being looked at months and months ago to get an actual solution but I don't think anything's actually happened yet. |

Oh and traige points are capped, so you can't just constantly earn points for repping suits every second of the game. Not sure what the cap is but you'll only get a certain amount of WP in a set period.
We've also been asking for WP for hacking vehicles, rehacking objectives and destroying enemy equipment (uplinks/nanohives) for a long long time but no word on any of this ever. |

I won't point fingers but there is one corp from closed beta that you can thank for not earning triage point's on vehicles....
I think the most glaring errors are the absence of WP gains from counter hacking an objective, Although this could be exploited by less scrupulous individuals which is probably why we don't gain WP From counter hacking null cannons.
Also the lack of WP gains from spotting enemies with the Active Scanner is a major problem, while it is extremely helpful to your team nobody uses because of the complete lack of WP gains. Honestly I don't understand why they even bothered to add it without first developing a WP gain system for successful use. |

All in all, there's not really much encouragement to do anything besides shooting people in the face.
The whole WP reward system needs a complete revamp. |

War Points will be getting an overhaul as part of the 'near future' improvements coming to DUST 514 (within 12 months). Among the ones mentioned specifically way Triage and dropships.
If they made it so only damage inflicted by your enemies reaps WP rewards for repping. |
