I dont read these forums much so i dont know if it has been mentioned but it is it possible to remove a player from your tank. I baled out of my tank to drop an orbital and when i turn around my tank is rolling away. 2mil isk stolen by one of my 'team mates' who refused to give it back. A solution to this problem would be a big help to this tanker. |

weve been ranting about this all through the life of the game, its happened to every tank driver who has ever deployed one at least 5 times. we want a system where we get to decide who gets into our 2 small turrets and lock the driver seat to the owners only, but many of the assaulters don't like it because they think they have the right to steal our vehicles that cost 5x more than their suits and blow them up, plus it mainly is your fault for jumping out of your tank while in the middle of your team.
rule #1 for Tank drivers. Reds are enemies on the opposite team, blues are enemies on your team, greens are sometimes the only ones you can trust but only if they are in your corporation.
good luck and il see you on the battle field nooby |

Just a thought... as well as ejection seats (for idiot gunners) if you simply required that a person have invested in tank skills to sit in the drivers seat it would eliminate 99.9% of the idiots who would steal a tank anyway. |

my current solution to this problem is to find a quite corner to call in my tank, and I don't get out, not because of my team, but because I once got out of a tank to take an objective, I got sniped from mcc, by the time I got back he had hacked it and was driving away with my isk, I thought, oh yea, you will move out your mcc for my tank.. |

Unfortunately you would still get a blueberry who jumps into drivers seat, finds none of the controls work, and STILL just sit there doing nothing.
I suspect that vehicle security is pretty low on the list of priorities for CCP if it is on the list at all.
To the OP try and find people people you can trust to babysit your tank or never leave it. |
