My biggest issue with LAVs atm is that you can hear them from so far away, you can't tell if they're near you or not.

Ok Chromosome LAV where much more squishy and thank god for that. So what can be done to improve the LAVs. First of give all small turrets further optimal range (will also help dropships) Then make missiles fired from a moving vehicle not intantly HIT the vehicle it has just been fired from (from a relativity theory point of view this should actually be impossible as the projectile would gain the speed of the vehicle + speed of projectile aka go faster than vehicle.... but CCP and physics ...).

Then give LAVs a 2% damage increase to small turrets per level to make these more deadly !!!

LLAVs ofcourse also need some love. Here the LAV bonus should fall away instead they get their resistance bonus they have now. BUT CHANGE THE DAMM REP TOOL THEY HAVE !!! Make the LLAV more like triage nanohive. You go near the vehicle and then it'll begin to rep any dropsuit in a 20 m vicinity of it or something like that ?????

When it has then repped for lets say 1200 armor hitpoints it'll get a 30 second cooldown. It'll just be passive module that'll always be on and then go into a cooldown mode when hit the set EHP point.
IDEA MAYBE ??? They'll actually act as LOGISTICS LAVs and not just OMFG LOL WTF bumper awesoume sick car....
