Nope, sony may charge for it but seeing how its also ftp and they use more of a pay to win micro transaction thing I don't see ccp loosing the player base they already have |

What player base? Have you even seen the dreadfully low numbers? Dust will take another hit once PS2 is on PS4. Face it, this game we had high hopes for is broken and is dying. |

What player base? Have you even seen the dreadfully low numbers? Dust will take another hit once PS2 is on PS4. Face it, this game we had high hopes for is broken and is dying. |

Its a wake up call at least
CCP needs to make sure the shooter aspect of DUST is done and fixed and also that other features have been added like the missing dropsuits/vehicles and turrets etc, plus larger numbers and PVE is a must, DUST needs to offer more than just large battles so PC and FW need to be refined
Also PS2 wont be on straight away, i expect if PS4 is released this year it maybe added a year later but PS2 is just large battles with no meaning |

Never played, however, I had just watch a few videos and reviews of PS2... looks about the same really. Its going to be new and shiny, ftp, with a bit of a p2w feel and out for a next-gen console so it will hurt Dust. Will PS2 do well? No. I have my fair share of SOE and they make good fun games but they have problems and those problems tend to stay around. SOE also caters to the new player and makes it quite easy to reach the highest skilled players (I agree with helping new players out, just not feeding them). Personally I think the PS2 game play looks worse than Dust (It reminds me of the world of warcraft episode that south park did.) Also if you hate the blueberries now PS2 will make you cry and long for the days of Dust
Overall PS2 will hurt Dust later rather than sooner seeing how people will probably wait to get then next-gen consoles for various reasons. |
