there is no point in marketing the game at this point..
there entire PS3 era of dust will still be a joke/beta
for ccp to get used to do an FPS.
imagine the following:
dev: i want to expend walk in station in this cool FPS game in eve.
management: could you develop a game engine on a limited system like a ps3 and make it stable THEN we will begin to think to implement this.
dev: no problem give me 2 years
result: whoa it take more than 2 years to make an fps engine from scratch.. |

Download this game and start a new character. Then leave and come back a year from now. If its still not good and if its still alive then wait another 6 months. If its still not good then give up there is no hope. |

I would push for a release on 5/14 based entirely on the novelty of the date when the game is nowhere near a proper release state, allowing review sites to tear the game apart for it's lack of features, balance and rampant technical issues.
Oh wait, was this supposed to be hypothetical and how to sell the game? |
