Not harsh enough. If a dropship pilot gets shot down, their controller should electrocute them. |

They should probably butcher the handling on normal and logistics dropships while they're at it, to make assault dropships have some kind of purpose. Oh wait.... I don't know what people seriously think of assault dropships atm.
I saw an assault dropship pilot go 31-0 one battle. Not kidding. |

Not kidding. it can happen with enough support from friendly ground forces, if they're agrressive enough the ADS can do it's job, but requires the team to pressure the enemy where the enemy is tied up fighting infantry, or they will spawn forge guns if they are unopposed. if the friendly team is weak the ADS usually goes down or is recalled after an emergency landing. enemy railtanks unopposed are a huge threat, as are rail turrets. if all these rail weapons are dealt with by friendlies the ADS can assault infantry or harrass enemy tanks. True. I remember that was a very hectic battle for everyone. The other team was putting tons of effort into defending a few uplinks. The ironic part is, if it wasn't for them ignoring the dropship, we wouldn't have destroyed their uplinks- since it was the dropship itself that was finally able to kill the people guarding them. |
