Stuff like things need specing down. Moaning about get hit by LAV. Yes it is annoying but why are you in a position to get run over in the first place (There's audio and a mini map which tell you a LAVs there). In real life a car would kill you at speed. so why complain. Now the basic LAV can be killed by Specifying into Anit vehicles weapons. You cant fit everything so make a good assignment of the map before you deploy. After all you are the reason you are killed in the match no one else.
Also other things in the past that you lot have moaned about are damage on a weapon. Yes it seems unfair but everything has a weakness for example Lasers and close distance.
To me it looks like every moan is an statement of 'I'm Not Good enough' which probably inst the case, if you just worked as a team and go against the persons weakness.

Kinda sucks when a proto rail gun cant one shot a basic lav.
Gotta love that 25% turret damage nerf.
In ccp's defense if they wouldnt have nerf turret damage tanks would be killing each other in 3 or less shots, due to the pg nerf. |

AV grenades mostly solves having to deal with LAVs for me, and its not nearly as much of an issue for me as other people perceive it, but the situation is still a bit flawed.
The amount of speed needed to roadkill someone is too low, you can kill someone with a gentle tap; we're heavily armored and shielded mercs, yet its easier to kill us by running us over than an un-armored regular human.
I would also like LAVs to take some damage when they hit infantry, nothing too much, it shouldn't kill the roadkill playstyle, but there should be some consequences.
The HP should not be nerfed. Free starter fit LAVs should remain. |

LAVs arent OP but they arent fun. What LAV defenders need to realize is people arent bitching because LAVs are murdering them left and right, they are bitching because its a joke of a game right now. SHow the current iterration of DUST to any new player and watch them laugh. Its silly. Its not a good experience.
I maybe die to an LAV once a night. But it doesnt mean the experience of DUST isnt ruined by having 3-4 murder taxis driving around all match. It is. Its a joke, and its a lot less fun than it used to be.
Also LOL to the minimap which shows an LAV unless its more than 10M away...yes, 10M...good luck reacting in the 1/10th of a secnd you have. |

We all have to make our own fun in this game, and until I get a respec out of vehicles mine is driving a murder taxi.
I've found a lot of people are adapting by standing on hills or behind obstacles where I can't get to them. Others have become more adept at dodging and running to cover. It results in fewer overall kills and a number of LLAV losses as I get hung up going for the more difficult kills. Overall it's balancing itself out. |

LAV roadkills are fine.
Also, I love LAVs becoming usable for the first time (last fall's small missile Sagas weren't still as usable even tho it was possible to get 50/0 in pub games. They still were paperish).
Small turrets should still be tuned up a bit, but at the same time small LAV HP tunedown would be in order. |

I agree a lot with this , however when I do die from an lav.. there is no indicator other than the headlights and vroom from the engine as it just peels in behind me, they rarely pop up on the mini from behind. Guess it's just my **** luck, but that's how it always goes for me. If I see it , it usually dies. As far as weapons, after the TAC debuff I feel they are getting somewhere with the balance of weapons and not much more change is needed.. Just really really wish they never introduced the flaylock lol, but will have to deal i guess |

I actually have a good friend of mine who's been hit from behind at 50 and 40mph, sending him up and over the first time, and partly through the windshield the second.
He spent a few weeks in the hospital, wore a backbrace, and is perfectly fine. |

Why doesn't the miliary IRL go around running people over instead of using ammo? Oh yeah- they can wreck their vehicles.
I've suggested this before in the past- all vehicles should have "chassis" health. Every time you hit something (not just running someone over- also stuff like landing too hard from a jump), the chassis takes damage. After a certain amount of damage, the vehicle stops working and must be manually repaired with a repair tool |
