Fairly new to the game and I was thinking of buying some skill boosters to help increase my skill points. At least for the few months. After looking at the packs I started thinking about getting the Elite Pack.
Do any of you guys use the suits and weapons from the pack?
If so, could you tell me what you think of them. Thanks! |

I bought the pack and I use the items in it. The basic bpos are nice to have I in particular like the logo suit ( three equips two highs two lows ) dren shotgun and the scrambler pistol/swarms. The assault rifle bpo is nice to if you don't already have one. Its a good deal IMO. |

It's too OP'ed.
Honestly, the whole game is unbalanced. If they could fix it, I'd enjoy this game a lot more.
I mean, I am a heavy and get killed with those weapons in about 3-5 shots... now with any other weapon, it takes about 20.
I understand "getting your monies worth", but come on...
Anyway, it's your money, but I'd recommend buying something nice for your wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, or husband. |

So I'm thinking the Elite pack is kind of redundant (for me) since I already have Exile AR and whatsamacallit Logi-suit (god dang it the name escapes me!) SEVER! Was it... Anyway, I guess it's good for the boosters and aurum and all but I don't want anymore useless/identical BPOs hanging arond my hangar. Suure, you MAY sell them in the future, but the future is long way from now. |

I wouldn't buy it, myself. I don't think it's worth the money. |

Can someone confirm (a DEV maybe) if the 'Dren' suits receive the bonus for having the corresponding racial suit skill? I.e. if you have caldari assault suit skill do you gain the bonus to shield recharge or mini logi for the Logistics suit? |

Don't worry about my money. Disposable income is a great thing.
All a moot point at the moment as I can't seem to connect :( |

I think the elite pack is worth it in 2 scenario's.
You are fresh out of the clone chamber. (IE: <1-2M SP)
-It allows you to use a multitude of different suits, weapons, and configurations without militia penalties right from go. Increasing your ability to do more in the beginning and also jump back into a role maybe you are not specialized in - without wasting any SP unlocking these things - EVER. You could go straight to drop suit modules to enhance those basic suits without having to push any SP into drop suits themselves. Keeping cost down, and increasing those suits effectiveness.
I have considered it. But buyer beware - these items are STANDARD gear. They are not magical unicorn death ray weapons or infinity suits that soak up 2000 points of direct fire.
You really want to be a vehicle driver.
-All the reasons I just mentioned above - but because it would allow you to sink ALL of your available SP into the vehicle of your choosing. And your ISK. Proto tanks and LLAV's - whatever you want. Build a few $0 ISK classes off of the DREN gear that costs you basically nothing to use and still be somewhat combat useful - but have big boy toys to really get down to business.
