Just removing mlt LAVs would do this BC the only ppl specced into LAVs also are tankers. Then it would be a skill. Bamsis. Wow. I'm a genius. Give me cookies and bacon. |

Because hitting someone with a 2-ton vehicle requires no skill other than actually being able to drive. And driving is a "third party" skill that comes directly from the player holding the controller, and his/her ability to manipulate their controller to steer their LAV. Its the same as being able to aim your assault rifle, either your good at it, or you're not, and if you practice you will get better.
It would be stupid if I hit you head-on with my car, but wasn't able to do any damage because I didn't possess the proper "skill." If I someone runs over your face with their truck, you are dead. End of story. |

Objectively, it sounds stupid the way you phrase it.
If you mean something more along the lines of a vehicle skill that increases the force of impact your vehicle has on tin men, than I could begin to at least not out-right dismiss it. I'd start by saying it better have the highest skill multiplier currently existing. |

So we have to earn SP to kill people in an FPS....
Don't we already have that for nearly every thing in this crap hole of game?
...
Dump the sh*t pile RPG SP/leveling system and all these balance problems go away....hopefully taking all the whiny farmville in space fairies with them. |

Lol, I don't get killed by them I use packed AV grenades on my dropsuits. I just thought of this idea but apparently you guys all need some justification that makes real world sense. |
