How do I express my love of my LAV... It gets me where I need to go with relative protection... It serves as a mobile armor repairer for my teammates... So what if the thing runs on a healthy coating of blood on the front bumper.. Its a big ass interplanetary offroad truck... Yes I run people over with it and no I don't feel bad about doing it... I don't strictly use it as a mobile battering ram. I do all sorts of things with it. I switch from the driver seat to the gun all the time. It is great for bunched up crowds and laying down suppressive fire for my team mates. I don't wine about getting run over by LAV's.... Why you ask? Because they are easy to avoid. you can hear them and see their fricking headlights.... If I can run you over with my LAV then it's your own damn fault for not minding your suroundings. Open your eyes and ears... you wouldn't run across the street without looking for cars....... |

Most common Dbag statement "lavs are fine,look before crossing" as if the current maps offer a majority of safe zones and only a few places you can be run over
And you can hear them but not as well as most would have you believe. I have very high quality surround headset and the sound does not travel far from the LAV ... |

Yeah..... it's not a douche bag comment... If you can't put any effort into making sure there isn't a loud, bright, and three times the size of a person LAV coming at you then you only have yourself to blame. IF people started running with a more anti vehicle setup then this wouldn't be an issue but people don't they are more then happy to just complain about it and do the same thing over and over and over...... take some SP and throw it into swarm launchers and SMG's and there you go.... you are now capable of dealing with vehicles and other players.... don't be closed minded... |

I love running over noobs with my LAV. Don't like it? get proto nades or another av weapon. I did. I have both the offense and defense. |

there is no earthly reason LAVs should be as invisible on radar as they currently are. HAVs too but that's another post. Anyway, I hear LAVs behind me before I see them on radar, and nowadays I jump before I know if it's blue or red. With all the dips and hill crest and rock formations you cant necessarily see one coming even straight on, so "look before you cross" isn't good advice. Just give radar detection of vehicles a boost.

yesterday I faced an lav that was stuck, I immediately dropped a nano hive and began to chuck the hacked AV's at it, he got out and managed recall it before I could destroy it, it still had shields left and the nano hive was gone by the time he did.
these things are stupid resistant, I thought the idea of the lav was a fast moving vehicles and the speed was intended to be it's defence, these ******* things take more damage then the tanks =/ |

Nice tactic...Might I recommend next time insead of bashing your head against a stone wall..Shoot the driver and jack his sweet-** ride?...

The problem is not whether someone is good at dodging LAVs. The problem is a crap, cheap console gamerboi game mechanic that is becoming an easy tactic for gangbangers who can't shoot. There is a reason you can't crash ships with each other in EVE.
Nice that you can do "other" things with your LAV but you nonetheless defend the murder taxi aspect of the game.
Sorry, but as long as the LAV crashup derby feature exists this game will continue to devolve into fratboi drinking game shenanigans.
This is the LAV murder taxi player right here.

well he was a heavy crouched behind the lav that was jammed inside a building archway, honestly I would of thought 8-10 av grenades would of solved the problem and I didn't even know he was calling his vehicle back, that said he died immediately after calling back his vehicle cause his cover was gone. |
