I thought it was said that FW battles would always be available for as many guys as you wanted to get in a battle with? Well, I have been finding it very difficult to get into a battle with a full squad and practically impossible to get in two squads. |

That's down to player base waning to be in the FW matches although with out squads all the suckers do is die and die badly not helping anyone out.
However its pretty easy to jump two squads into a match, just switch tabs frequently which will update your list, matches tend to be most available during US and EU Timezones because that's when most complexing occurs,
Just be quick about your selections and team choices.
Basically what I would have done for FW is have players sign up to FW like In eve, a cost for the corp to join the FW, and a minimum limit of the size of the corp. That way we don't have solo guys jumping into matches. |

I know a lot of people who want to do FW more often but don't want to wait for an open battle. Really whatever formula they are using needs to be tweaked so we get a lot more contracts opening up. I'd also be down for a system where we can simply queue up for say the next open contract from the 24th Imperial Crusade without having to manually watch the tabs and be quick to it. |

Yeah I know what you mean.
The formula is based off of the amount of "Complexing" Faction Warfare groups do in EVE. This means that when you sign up for a FW tag to a faction you will be able to scan for complexes, which are faction owned and held stations, FWer fight over the stations either to attack or defend that station in that cluster.
Our FW matches coincide with the activities happening in FW clusters, if we have a lot of FW warfare in Devoid then a lot of contracts in clusters within Devoid will open up. Consequently if there is no activity then less matches will appear.
Our wins and losses work by reducing or improving timer modifiers that aid with helping FWer of a specific group capture the region. Wins for the Amarr make Amarri FW activities easier to do in the cluster, while losses make it harder. |

Also, FW pilots should be able to "donate" to a pool of ISK for each district they want/need taken over or defended. We could then choose the battles we wanted to fight for based off of ISK or for the faction. We as infantry should also be allowed to pool or ISK into a EVE based orbital strike to entice pilots to show up. I don't think there is a way for pilots to know what planet district has a battle without dust mercs telling them or just flying out there to check. |
