So have CCP said anything about solving the problem with AFKers?
They are multiplying fast and during low peak hours they can be half the team or more.. |

They are coming out with an anti idle fix pretty soon. They've mentioned it several times. And don't bother cooking grenades, it doesn't work anymore. |

They need to give us a matchmaking system at the same time they fix this.
Im not proud of it but I afk sometimes after I have been harvested by the proto. I want my skillpoints, because of potential lol, but playing can be demoralizing when your a noob. |

AFKing is a symptom of a problem not the actual problem.
remove the idiotic SP/leveling system and AFKing will go away. |

Do what I do- pull out a starter fit dropsuit, and a starter fit LAV. Run the protosuits over. SOOOOOOOOOOO satisfying. |

Some folks are a little bit selfish... in that AFKing is not a problem for the AFKing QQer but it can be a problem if one team has a bunch of AFKers, while the other doesn't, and some players on that team would actually like to work for a victory.
Whining about how crappy (other, ya right) people are in pub matches doesn't cut it. |

Yeah, I can't wait until we are all killing people who snipe, or drive a LAV, or AFK, or run too slow or didn't notice the objective got hacked, or had to leave the controller for a minute to answer the phone or go to the bathroom.

I've actually noticed a lot less AFKing in recent weeks.
I'm also not proud to say that I tried it after missing out on some grind time over the weekend. (Can't let those boosters go to waste.) Started up some Skirmish while making dinner and doing chores.
I suck at it, though; ended up getting like 4 kills and 390 WP. |

I've had times where AFKers have changed the tide of the battle. For a while, our team it doing well, until an important teammate (like the ninja dropping uplinks everywhere) goes AFK. After that, more and more people go AFK. |

Keep the passive SP gains and get rid of the active gains. AFK SP farmers won't have a reason to go into a match anymore. Then we'll just have AFK ISK farmers. |

They aren't going to fix AFK anytime soon because many of the AFK players frequently purchase AUR.
Make them actually play the game, they won't want to, they won't buy AUR, CCP loses
So, expect AFK to remain for at least another month or two. |

correct me if im wrong. but this was also said about bottters in eve, they have to many accounts ccp wont clamp down on them. but ccp did.
