Allowing Players to basically cheat the Aurum system would cause CCP to take a sever profit hit. CCP is a company and they need money to run, Economics 101.

No. Once you can trade items and ISK you could probably buy AUR with ISk on ebay or something like that. Or in EvE i think you can buy Plex from other players with ISK...if you can do that in EvE i imagine it will happen in Dust. But yeah i don't think CCP will ever sell AUR for ISK. It would be only through another players.

It used to be fun and rewarding to grow my bank account when I was hovering around the 10 million mark Now I'm pushing 300 million and absolutely nothing to spend it on. The joy of trying to balance suit cost with money lost is no longer interesting.

You are in negative feedback. If your corp is not getting real money from your clients then you are doing it wrong. Use that money to buy AUR.
hgghyujh Expert Intervention Caldari State 19	Posted - 2013.06.05 02:53:00 - [7] - Quote not really actually its all about how much your time is worth, now that said a direct conversion will not be possible, but play trading is on the road map........soon(TM) and that will allow the sale of items bought with aur for isk. That means that as isk is favored more heavily to buy those items they become more expensive and more people will be forced to buy the aur varient(or more people will spend money to buy them to sell them as they are worth more isk) all this is value added to aur and money spent for the consumer as they get more functionality out of what they buy meaning they are more likly to buy.

You can't even buy 1 plex in Eve for that much. Plex is also used in eve to pay sub fees and as there is non in Dust I can't see a reason why CCP would credit you AUR for ISK. Aur is a real money currency transaction. So is plex, but in that case it is used to pay a real subscription fee. My advice is to be patient and wait for the markets to finally merge, hopefully sooner than later. That would be much more usefull to you than an isk/aur transfer.

I just want to know when I can put a monocle on my Dust characters so I can look like Colonel Klink. shakes fist "Hogannnnnnnnnnn!"

No word on whats coming first, a player driven Dust only market or complete market integration with Eve. I will take either at this point.
