Ok so on a post I put up but can't find now someone told me to put shield mods on my Caldari Assault Dropsuit he said that this was the best way to go with it but then someone else said no that I should do armor repairer and armor plates.
So question #1 what's the difference and what really works better with this dropsuit.
2. I bought armor plate in the market and tried to put it into my fitting but it was no where to be found so I went back to look if I actually bought it and I did so why didn't it show anywhere??
3. Also I like using milita drop uplinks for my Equipment is this a good way to go or should I try something else? |

1. It depends what the cost is... (Everything is better when it costs alot!)
2. That might be a thing you need support for, Or just need to look harder.
3. I would use the Revive injector. (Don't know the exact name) You can get alot of friends with that. Plus, Corps love medics!

1. All Assault suits get a bonus to Shield Recharge Rate.
However Caldari as a race favour shields. They have more starting shields, and have more high slots (and shield modules usually go into high slots)
On the opposite side, Gallente as a race favour armor. They have more starting armor, and have more low slots (and armor modules go into low slots)
What's better? Well, for Caldari suits, shields are better, for Gallente suits, armor is better. Note that your starting race play no role in this.
As for what's better in general: shield tanking or armor tanking, that's debatable. Both have benefits and disadvantages.
2. You were probably looking for your armor module under high slot. It's won't show there. When you modify your low slots, you will see it
3. Uplinks are good. If you are not in a squad, other people without squad can spawn on your uplink. If you are in squad, only your squadmates can spawn on it. You get points when that happens.
Another good choice are nanohives that replenish ammo for you and your teammates. Again, you get points.
Nanite injectors are great for getting quick 60 points, but careful about reviving people if the area is not clear and they get killed again quickly (they get revived with only 10% armor with militia injector). It's not appreciated when that happens

2) check your assets 3) no problem, though if you're using nano hives, I suggest getting advanced models. Besides, if you find yourself exceeding the PG/CPU limit, consider standard modules over militia equipment |
