we the gamers play Dust a lot. and then we jump on the forums and complain about weapon balance, maps lag, latency and a myriad of other things . Instead of offering advice or practical soultions we make demands.
Yes in chromosome the laser was OP and yes right now the TAC AR is OP.
The solution for the Lasers was to increase the heat up speed by 35% reduce the effectiveness on shileds (not armor) by 20% didn't have to mess with the range or the sightings.
The solution for the TAC AR is to limit its rate of fire and decrease the size of their clips.
That is what I mean by a solution and I think every one who plays the game will realize what i am saying is right.
see as gamers we should play the game identify the problems and give a practical solution to CCP.
CCP has failed us as gamers by not completing a single aspect of the game. I say this because we have weapon balance issues, framerate issues, lag issues, memory leak issues, a lack of diversity on the planets(maps), a lack of pve, a consistent looting system, there isn't a player market(or at least the ability to sell equipment back to the market) and all the racial dropsuits/weapons and a lack of maps.
CCP what you need to do is take one of the issues I listed above and complete it. because as this game stands it is only half ready and I am hoping it is full ready before Battlefield 4 and the new COD arrive because this game has the potential to be a world changing game as it stands right now this game feels like it should still be in closed beta because the things that are standardized in fps games are still full of bugs, and the things that are standardized in MMOrpg aren't even there.
my advice is to look at the post where people are reporting bugs and other people are agreeing fix the bugs. and than completely concetrate all programmers on bringing either the fps or mmo aspect of this game up to standard then get the other aspect up to standard.
As far as I a concerned the only thing that was done correctly was the physics engine for the LAV. the graphics were improved but that might be the cause of all the lag and memory leak.
I am someone who has bought the starter pack, the mercenary pack 1, the veteran pack, and the elite pack. I spent my hard earned money because I believe in the potential of this game and I want it to be hear for the next 10 years on PS 5. Plz don't prove myself and the thousands of other dustbunnies wrong. |
