Given how small the maps are, it is ridiculous for a team to be able to have 4 drop uplinks at a time. Drop uplinks should be limited to 2 per team. Also, please fix that weird glitch where the drop uplink is underneath the surface of the map. This is an unfair advantage since it creates an additional indestructible (sometimes) spawnpoint. Uplinks are supposed to turn the tide of battle, not make it one-sided.
edit: If not 2 per team, then at LEAST 1 per squad (1 squad shouldnt be able to plant +2 uplinks) |

How about you just kick logis in the balls. It's bad enough having anything you drop lighting up on the field like a big "come over here and destroy me" beacon so it's not like they need fewer means of building wp. |

1. Logis have the medic gun, the revive needle and the ammo box. Logis can easily go 1000+wp without pulling the trigger (i should know, i played my gf's logi class went 0/0 with 1020 wp) 2. More players use logis as assault suits anyway. 3. Uplinks are dropped by the same player almost everytime. And that 1 dude drops 2 at a time. 4 uplinks at one objective is too much. Limiting uplinks constitutes more strategic placement like pre-uprising as opposed to pure blitzing 4. The invisible uplink underneath the map surface is a serious problem. It doesnt give the opposing team a chance to fight back if it cannot be destroyed. |

A better idea would be for the opposing team to use flux grenades to take out all uplinks and nanohives AND/OR drop uplinks of their own.
It makes for amazing battles when both teams use uplinks properly.

I anything there should be a penalty on the spawn time for the uplinks if they are too close together, ie first would get ride of any bonus, then like 15% increase to the spawn time . |

There's prototype drop uplinks that can have 3 active at one time by one person alone. The number active isn't the problem. |

an even better idea would be for nabs to quit trying to nerf everything.. The uplink is so broken atm that I dont even bother using it.. |

So you think logis are the only ones equipping uplinks?

If adopted your suggestion would eleminate the value of more than half the uplink types for sale in game, it would also eliminate the incentive for nearly everyone to spend any SP speccing into the skill. It might also help if you cited what map you're talking about specifically and what game mode (they are not all equal).
Regarding Uplinks placed into terrain, agreed that should be fixed. In the mean time using a Flux nade will skill clear the uplink.
TL;DR -1 to the OP but the terrain glitch should still be fixed.

I see where you are coming from and you make a valid point. Perhaps the issue comes from the fact that a team can cluster uplinks with the addition of the terrain glitch. And while it is true that flux grenades are useful for them, it is inefficient given the fact that everyone else likes to play bumper cars on dust maps. |

I completely agree, under the current state in Uprising some things are broken and uplinks as used in this environment are part of the problem. I believe however that fixing the 'glitch into objects' bug and restoring proper physics to the LAV (it used to take speed to kill with a LAV and cost you speed every time you ran someone down, recently you just keep on cursing and that's created an excess of "death taxi").
The Flux aren't a solution, they're a workaround and I just want to reiterate that because they in no way reduce the need for a fix to the basic problems. Thank you sir for being willing to discuss the issue in a reasonable manner.
