Drones are cool and all, but grinding z¦¦o¦¦m¦¦b¦¦i¦¦e¦¦s¦¦ Drones will eventually get boring. I suggest to have a series of 12 missions long campaigns, issued by the 4 empires. (So there will be 48 missions) Each mission will be 15-20 minutes long, and will be more scripted (but still kinda open) than Dust normally is. This will basically be the singleplayer, only that you can bring other players with you for coop.
The missions will be Gallente vs Caldari, Amarr vs Minmatar, and not only will they add some fun and thrilling play (Be honest, scripted missions can be awesome, as long as they don't hand hold you too much), but they will add even more content for role players.
Now, even though its scripted, I still want it to be challenging. I thought of it like this way: First 3 missions = LVL 1 missions in EVE - Militia gear will do well Next set of 3 missions = LVL 2 missions in EVE - Standard gear is recommended Next set of 3 missions = LVL 3 missions in EVE - Advanced gear Next set of 2 missions = LVL 4 missions in EVE - At this point the story campaign has ended - Proto gear Final mission = LVL 5 missions in EVE - Requires multiple players to pull through, takes the payout sum of all 11 missions, doubles it, and that's the pay off.
After you finish all 12, you unlock the ability to play the Final bonus mission as many times as you want, though at a reduced payout. I still want drones to be the money grinding source, while contract missions just being a more scripted experience which isn't designed to be played 9000 times to get ISK.
I also had the idea that at the end, you would choose to either finish the contract for the empire that you signed it with, or you can betray them to gain favor from the opposite empire.
After a month, the campaign will be open again, with the original payout instead of the reduced one. Once you're done, you'll have to wait another month to play the campaign again. Now remember, its 4 campaigns, one per empire, so you won't lack any content.
There will be a new campaign every 6-18 months, depending on what CCP is capable of doing. |

Kitten, I would suggest that each Set of Missions in a specific LVL be required to have X amount of people in a squad (much like a you have written in LVL 5 Missions). This helps the DUST514 community in general. What you think?
LVL 1 -> Just You LVL 2 -> 2 Ppl Max LVL 3 -> 3 Ppl Max LVL 4 -> 4 Ppl Max LVL 5 -> 5-6 Ppl Max
Also another thing, since this is PVE, do you think people should be able to respawn if they die in any of these missions? If they have a Logi with them in squad, no problem since they should respawn but if no Logi is present, you lose the mission entirely?

I see a fusion of the PVE & PVP Battle Systems working together when Planetary Conquest is involved.
For Instance:
What we know at the moment is that when an attacker sends clones to attack a planet they lose some clones during transit. What if we could enhance that feature a little bit. Let's imagine that District 101 has some Defense Screen/District Clone Jammer which the MCC has to get past. Let's also imagine that because of that shield/jammer you lose X amount of clones.
Now we could say that this is a nuisance and should be removed. I agree but how to do this. Well the attackers could create a mission contract for the PVE DUST player in which the job is to disable any defenses in that district regardless of the number of players he wants to bring with him but the more players he brings generates the following conditions:
A -> (Fixed ISK Mission Contract / X Amount of Players) = ISK Per Player
Since the ISK per contract is fixed, the more people you bring with you the less you receive. PVE Players have to weigh the pros and cons of making big squads for the mission contract in question.
B -> More Players = Increased Difficulty in the mission. This is common sense since can't have a 6 man squad steam rolling through a mission which could create a disadvantage for the defender.
Also these conditions need to be met for the seemless transition from PVE to PVP combat.
A -> PVE Mission Contract must be completed before the PVP Battle (common sense).

Something to think about i think. Both of these suggestions sound cool. The second one also sounds neat, as it increases tension, since you won't be able to do the mission for another month. For compensation, I think just for that the mission reward should be pretty big.
What do you think about this? Note that I'm trying to compensate for the amount of people required and the gear needed. I think this payment is fair, considering that its a group effort, can do it only once a month and you can't respawn. LVL1 -> 2mil LVL2 -> 4mil LVL3 -> 10mil LVL4 -> 30mil LVL5 ->100mil LVL5reduced -> 10mil <-- Requires proto gear, 6 people and no respawns, fair pay IMHO |

Kitten, keep in mind that CCP wants to remove ISK from the EVE Economy so any big rewards will just create more problems.

These are once a month rewards. Also, all of these combined are still chump change for EVE. |
