In EVE there is a button which removes all HUD and lets players capture great footage that they can use to make amazing EVE videos.
Could we get something similar for DUST? Maybe not a button, or button combo, but something in the settings maybe.
Let the DUST players have a Camera Man Mode so that we can capture pure DUST action and make amazing videos just like players have done for EVE Online for years now.
That or a way to record footage after the game where we can leave our bodies. Either one would be amazing. Hell both might be good. |

Spectator Mode?
Pros:
Better Footage.
Learning new tactics by watching Pros (this is more for the noobs but I still learn new stuff)
Cons:
I'm not sure there are really any
Suggestions:
Only enabled for Instant Matches.
Stuck in Spectator for the entire match.
Make it possible to record the footage via Dust for those who can't afford or get a recorder working.
[*] At least add in Screenshots to take pictures of those truely awesome tank explosions, battle scenes, orbitals, etc. |

Spectator mode would be nice in general. While spectating you should have the opportunity to disable the HUD. Indeed.
Recording DUST while playing it? I don't see that coming. 
BUT, I accept if someone teaches me wrong.  |

I agree completely! We need HUD removal ASAP!!
Hey CCP some of us have very high end plasma tv's and we have to be careful with image retention or burn in. Even though said high end plasmas now have anti burn in tech it can still happen and the removal of the HUD is crucial!!
Please make HUD removal options immediate!! |

A new twist on the HUD;
1. Have the option to have it completely off
2. Have the option to have an active HUD; If you get hit your left HUD fades in and then fades out if you stop getting hit. Charging a weapon or firing causes the right HUD to fade in but when your just running around it's not there. |

yes please let us toggle the hud on and off. full support for full screen mode!!! I would play much more dust (and even buy aurum) if this was implemented! |
