Yes I shouldn't let someone get close enough to kill me with a knife, but often they are hiding, and make the kill when I attempt to get an objective.
Even though I do not have much shield and armor on my Dropsuit, a two hit kill, makes the NOVA knife the most powerful weapon in the whole game, why?
A scout DS with NOVA knifes shouldn't be the most lethal player in the game.

If they can be the most lethal player, so be it. As long as it's not the guy driving around in the free death taxi who was the most lethal, i'm absolutely happy. |

Do you have any idea how much skill it takes to get close enough to do damage with a nova knife? The knife isn't overpowered, you want to nerf it because your situational awareness seems to suck ;)
Knives only do damage at super close range, at every other distance it's worthless. You whining about its damage at those super close ranges is like a knifer whining about a SR doing damage at 40m. |

Can i just add, that melee damage or nova knife swings can sometimes just miss. For absolutely no reason. |

They are not OP. They are not UP either. They are perfect.
It takes skill and balls to sneak up to you. Also, check the area before you hack anything to see of anyone is hiding and maybe bring a friend to cover you. |

nova knive can never be OP no matter how much you buff them, the maps are 90% open space. and the only suit that can really fit them are scouts. so, no they are not and never will be OP even if they were one hit kills.
btw, i am a heavy. nova knives are my weakness. and i still have no complaints. they are hard to use, even after they fix aim assist they will get no lunge, like in cod. put some points into your scanner. work with a teammate, look at the kill feed. you be ok buddy |

No, they are perfectly fine the fact you can kill a scout in 3 shots if you can catch them, and that they have to get close is enough of a window for you to either run or shoot. |

First off the amount of skill points you have to invest is rediculous to even make them useable!
U gotta amp up dampening , scanning, range amp, suits , shields , endurance , speed an then still not have enough room on ur suit for a gun!
Scouts have skills in things other players just don't worry about.
Buy a militia mini scout an see how many times u die running around with little over a hundred shields and 70 armor!
A advanced suit will have like270 shields max that's with no gun, so when u see that guy get anything in the positive kdr after a match you kno he worked harder for that than any other player in the match.
So hats off.
You gotta run an hide an pray to god the detection on a strike works when u swing your blades because theirs no way you can even complain when someone got the drop on u with knives makes u look like a poor sport! |
