I have been thinking about the skillpoint cap lately.What is the point? If everyone started with a clean slate on release day I would absolutely understand.(NOT saying that is what should have happened) but since that is not what happened the cap really does not serve a purpose.
Noob week 1 - 1,000,000 sp
Vet week 1 - 8,000,000 sp
Noob week 2 - 1,190,000
Vet week 2 - 8,190,000
Sorry if I am missing something here I just do not see any point whatsoever to a skill point cap.
If new players want to grind their ass off and catch up a bit.let them.
If vets want to go from 10m to 15m in a matter of a couple weeks,let them. |

Because in reality 95% of vets grind more than some newbie, so with no skillcap your figures would actually look like this:
Noob week 1 - 1,000,000 sp
Vet week 1 - 8,000,000 sp
Noob week 2 - 1,200,000
Vet week 2 - 9,000,000 |

I forgot what post it was in where he was talking about taking passive sp and turning it into potential sp, but that was the best idea for a sp system. In short there should be an overall community cap. That way vets can still grind up slowly but surely and noobs can catch up when ever they get the time to. This works for recreational gamers as well as hardcore gamers. Love the idea, confuses me why it has not been implemented. |

A lot of the questions I have asked were indeed found using SEARCH.And a lot of them were discussed/answered prior to release.LOGIC tells me that odds are things have changed since then,so I ask it again now.
