Simple question. Some are happy where they are right now, but there are some who aren't. This thread is about neither of them. Lets say a few months from now, you add in new dropsuits, like the Caldari Heavy or a "Jet" re-imagined in the DUST 514 style, do we get another respec? I would hope so. If you added in a jet of sorts I will never run ground again :D |

personally i would lime to see a twice a year re-allocation mechanic implemented kinda like the neural remap thingy in eve
I get what you are saying, but being able to remap our skills once a year or twice a year is kinda overpowered in of it self. Think about it, you could just switch to what ever is the most op thing in the game, then when it gets nerfed, switch to the new op thing.

I cap out every week and constantly have boosters running, but rarely do I leave unallocated skill points sitting around, unless of course I am saving up for a certain skill. Of course we can just spec into them when they are released but that leaves us with inventories of dropsuits, guns, and modules we may rarely or never use again. I know when I got my recent optional respec, I still had quite a few Gallente Assault Suits left over and I dont plan to spec into them again for quite a long time.

I'm not getting used to it. I just wanted to know. If they did add a vehicle type that made me want to drop running assault for vehicles, it would leave me with inventories of items I might never use again. OR, (I dont think you are supposed to start a sentence with and/or but I will anyways) lets say CCP adds the Command and Pilot dropsuits, and I want to utilize these dropsuits to their fullest. I am again going to have stockpiles of inventory I may never use again, and skill points that just became wasted.
Basically the best way I can put this, is that after we become so specialized, it is nearly pointless to try and switch your specialization, because it would take another 6 months to get where you are now in a specialization, in a different one. (My grammar isn't best so sorry if you don't follow) |
