personally i hate keyboard & mouse users this is a PLAYSTATION game using a controller like the rest of us. you have way too much of bs you can do. like the sprint duck thing i see people do, better aiming, faster HAVs, and more. that is junk why cant a controller do that? change it to controller only or fix those glitches. make it fair controls for everyone.

yes it makes the HAV take off and hit top speed in about a second or 2 while the controller takes 4 to 5 seconds. a friend who uses the KB&M helped me with a test. we had both plain Soma tanks, no skills in vechiles at all and we took off at the same time yet even time he was faster at the get go, turned easier and stopped and backed up quickier every time. KB&M also can do the ducking sprint you can not do with a controller by the way i about lost my right arm at work. i have only 35% use of it that includes my hand. so keyboard and mouse i can not possible to use so no pc games for me and the 360 controller is too big for me to use with any average ablitiyand after about 30 mins my hand is hurting due to the controller size. that is why i am a ps3 user. the smaller wired controllers makes it possible to play. if you think keyboards and controllers are equal try the controller for a month and see if they are the same.

KB/M is super unfair.

The game is actually designed so when using a KB/M and trying to select a piece of equipment with the radial menu a special program kicks in to decide which one best fits your situation better than you can decide.

I've found myself thinking I wanted to grab my repair gun to save the heavy in front of me but the game knows what I should really do is toss out a nano hive.

i CAN NOT USD IT My hand is limited to the point trying moving the mouse after a min it really starts hurting. you use your arm and hand more than you know. it was maded for the pc but it changed so should the control set up.

KB/M has it's drawbacks. Sure we can get more precise aim but we give up fine movement control as we have no gradient for slower more refined movement that the DS3 has. And with the turn rate cap, we don't turn faster. And the module select wheel and frago commands are, in my experience, much easier with the DS3.

What it comes down to is more personal skill with a chosen control method than the control method itself. The OP is basically asking everyone to play with the controller since he can't play with anything else. And using a disability as an excuse to justify that desire is just pathetic.

This like saying you prefer to play super smash bros brawl with a wii remote because its what a wii comes from even though the game was designed to be playable with a gamecube controller, which you refuse to use.
