There is nothing more satisfying than shooting someone one the otherside of the map or as they jump off a building an hitting them mid flight with a headshot. |

I especially enjoy hate mail from the guys who pull in a dropship for the specific purpose of getting up to where they think no one can touch them. I put SP into sniper rifles just for guys like that. |

I find my longest range shots are counter-sniping on a larger map. I hit a 525.83m shot earlier this week.
Some of my most satisfying shots are with the tactical. When you've slapped a few rounds into the target and they are running away. They jump and jitter and head for cover -- and at the last second you swing the rifle, pull the trigger, and bam, down goes Frazier.
A few luckier shots are memorable as well. One particular shot with the sniper rifle is likely to stick with me as long as I play unless it happens some more. I guy got in close range and was going to wipe the floor with my corpse, I fired a panicked hip shot right into the brainpan. +50 |

I can't count how many times I've been perched in the mountains and I hear next to me the sound of another sniper rifle. Radar shows no blue dots. I peak my head up and look, and sure enough... enemy sniper no more than a few feet away. Surely I heard them, so they had to have heard me, right?
I've actually taken 16 photos(no lie) on my phone of me standing right behind an enemy sniper, scoped directly onto their head. Ironically, this happened to me earlier today. I was perched in the mountains and another sniper managed to flank me and put one right in my back. Kudos to that sniper....
.... actually not. I survived his shot and managed to finish the round 37/0. I could tell by the sound of his gunshot that he had to have been directly RIGHT behind me.
The hate mail is always the best. I usually get at least one a day. My favorite is from enemy snipers who I repeatedly kill throughout a match. Especially those who, even after being killed, head to the exact same spot. Each... and every... time. Then they call me a camping F@G despite their carelessness.
Here's a tip: If you get killed(hell, even shot at) don't return to the same freaking spot! |

Yesterday I was tryna snipe a uplink which is a bit tricky cause at a distance the actual uplink doesn't render. I shot a fully charged shot at it. Right at that time someone spawned and I one shotted him. Felt a wee bit bad. |

I myself hate snipers. Nothing is more satisfying than heading to their spot all stealthy-like, and riddling their pathetic backs with holes from my shotgun.
Heck, I recall killing one sniper (who had recently sniped me) near the redline. He then respawned, and continued sniping, this time, from within the redline. That didn't stop me from running all the way into the redline to give him a second helping of my shotgun. That then caused him to stay well within the redline for the duration of the match. T'was satisfying, to say the least. |

Awesome. I specced out of sniper rifles after Chromosome.... while much fun was had in that build sniping and countersniping with my sniper rifle, these days I most enjoy trolling the hills and taking them out with a bit of a personal touch. Shotgun, scrambler pistol, grenades, it's great.
Hat's off to you guys who enjoy sniping, but don't neglect your scan range and scan precision.... helps to keep folks like us from sneaking up on you so easily.
Edit: had to comment on the redline kills.... you can almost feel the panic when the sniper sees you say '**** it' and run right into the redline to take 'em down. usually it's the Logi Snipers that are all like "Damn, NOW I understand why I need a sidearm.... well, good think I carried that drop uplink. Thank GOD for those extra EQ slots...." |

I think you should get the last PS3 Sniper Elite V2 and play that. |

I also think snipers should get banned from this game or at least limited to 1 per side each match, no more. |

Having 7 snipers on your team makes it really tough for the one poor guy actually trying to take null cannons.
My experience in FPSs over the years is that only a small percentage of snipers are actually team assets. Most people just spend the whole match missing or looking for kills that disappear behind cover, you know the guys, the ones who spend a whole match sniping and end up with a 1/0 score. Almost no snipers actually cover their team or effectively counter-snipe.
The guys that do it right are good, but 80% of snipers should hang up their rifles and get down into the action. I comfortably put myself in that category, I suck at sniping so I don't do it. I'm much more comfortable in the explosions and bullets panic station of CQC. |

I have tried ar and being in the action but I suck at that cos I cant hit squat, and people moan about us snipers but its not always easy to hit your target with a very small magazine cos if u dont get a headshot 60% of the time you have lost your kill and since uprising it has become even harder to snipe people |
