This is isn't necessarily for me, but many people remain un-aware of issues because they don't visit the forums. And while I personally think they should come here and inform themselves, I think this would go a long way towards improving communication between you and the players Also, it would remove a lot of unneeded treads... hopefully

I have a good friend who has read nothing in either the Launcher or his mail list since he started playing, and flat out refuses to do so because he sees no point.

I can't believe a company just keeps sending me so many fail letters again and again and I have to keep deleting this stuff. Why isn't there a spam folder I can put your garbage in?

Ever played DCUO? Show me where the current patch notes are in-game? DUST is, if anything, BETTER about informing players in-game than the biggest other free-to-play console MMO on the market. And it's still not doing as good a job as I'd like. I'm actually glad there's so much information on the forums though. It's much better than Ubisoft's love of spamming information all over Facebook and Twitter and letting the regulars on their official forums wait until someone who DOESN'T work for the company can be bothered reposting the news where it should have been in the first place. Even more fun was when they tried to justify that it was more practical to post it directly onto social media sites without sharing it on the forums than to either copy-paste the news to post it everywhere or post it on the forums and link to it on social media.
