Scout suits are meant for sneaking and generally not being spotted. But does it really matter if the enemy's scan can't pick me up if the enemies can easily see me? My std. G scout suit is white and blue. Considering that the main colors of the maps seem to be brown (desert area) and a grey (city areas), a white and blue suit sticks out like a sore thumb.
So my request is this:
Basic: Recolor the scout suits to more easily blend in with the environment
Advanced/Future: Add in a basic chameleon effect to the scout suits. For example, if a scout user is in a desert area, the suit will have a dark brown/light brown color scheme but will switch to something like dark grey/light grey in the city areas. Perhaps the color changes become more complex with adv. and proto suits, such as proto getting a digital camo scheme. |

If we're doing this, why not have every single suit in desert camo? Cloak is coming soon so this seems pretty redundant. |

Because a desert camo might not be ideal in all maps once the game has developed further. They could add maps with different environments like ice maps, full city maps, etc..
And I'm assuming cloak is not going to be a passive ability (otherwise it would be too OP), so it would be only useful if you KNOW there are enemies about. The passive chameleon effect or recolor would be helpful at all times.
Edit: Also, is there a place with all of CCP's planned features gathered together? |

We're going to be getting a paint bucket system in the near future as part of CCP's roadmap for Dust. On top of that, cloaking modules will be introduced that supposedly mimic your predator-style cloaks. |

There's no ****ing way any suit should be getting a more camouflaged look while logi's are still stuck running around like fluorescent yellow targets. |

I agree that scout suits should be more like Ghost Recon I have little faith in profile dampening. |

Ok for Cloaks if there were 2 different types passive and active it could work in a similar way to a vehicles passive and active shield and armor resist modules. Passive adding at most 15% resistance (maybe a 25-35% passive cloak?) and active adding a 25-40% resistance (maybe a 65-80% active cloak?). But wait if your someone with lots of high powered or low powered slots (depends on what they make the active and passive) won't they be able to fill them with passive cloaks? technically yes... unless you have large penalties for using multiple or a limit like there is for damage control units on vehicles. so you couldnt use more than 2 passive cloaks and/or 1 active cloak. |

But if the passive cloak is made into an actual module, the role of the scout suit is diminished. Why settle for a low shield and armor scout suit when you can get an assault or logi suit with the same (or more) visual stealth capabilities?
Edit: And what is the percentage for cloak translate to? Transparency? |

Yeah transparency/chameleon. though i think that it should be diminished minorly when moving and/or firing. and add in suits that specialise in it as in having bonuses which reduce the pg and cpu usage of these modules. (like black ops ships in eve) |
