CCP, while you're at it, increase the number of templars! 200 is just too low spread across the different timezones....
Only a fraction of that 200 would be playing the whole 3 days during the event. Also, once they hit their 20,000 SP theyd just go back to their main and try to hit the cap.
Make this event successful by providing more Templars!

Already suggested this earlier and got a beating for 'complaining'. But nonetheless I am in for supporting this.
Man I hope you get heard simply because this was one of the few events I was looking forward to being a part of.....unfortunately I know of four players from my alliance who got it, one of whom is already getting the collectors edition of eve the lucky sumbitch. |

And change name from templars to Mercs...in fact just eliminate all the idiotic faction crap from Dust entirely...and flesh out the Mercs roleplaying elements and make the game play have something even remotely to do with being a merc. |

It's a small window of opportunity to be heard. CCP can still increase that number of Templars.
I wanted to be a Templar and would have played all 3 days to give the chance for people to earn that 2.5 million bounty. However, I would just be happy to see more of them on the ground when the event goes live.
Wish they went the extra mile to actually have it be done by sides... Templar Hunters vs. Templars and their sympathizers.
I would love to be a sympathizer and kill Templar Hunters if I cant be a Templar :D |

Gotta agree, 200/ 300 is too low a number.
Lets see, its 300 Templars, being the weekend, you'll more than likely see around 6000-ish+ players most of the day, so that's 20% chance to see one, then there are 4 game modes, that's 5% to see one, then there's two teams, that's 2.5% to have one on the enemy team.
That's assuming all 300 Templars are online and constantly playing non-stop all through the duration of the event.
But we all know that's not going to happen, there's going to be plenty who won't show up for whatever reason, won't be able to play much, plus keep in mind they're going to be scattered through multiple time-zones.
PLUS, that's just the odds of finding ONE single Templar, lets not forget we have to find and KILL 3 or kill one 3 times, so even if you happen to be in a match with one, there's no guarantee that you'll get to kill them, even more so if your entire team is also looking to kill it, or they just spend the entire match in a Railgun installation or Redline/ MCC Sniping to get the WP.
Not to mention now that the event was delayed, the last day will be on Monday, so if any of them have work, they won't be able to be on too late on Sunday AND won't be on too much during Monday.
So...yeah, good luck with the Bigfoot hunt.  |

There will be 300.
EDIT: I assume most Templars will be in Ambush, since its the best to get a lot of WP and matches in really quick. |

300 for more than 20x the players is not really that good (and that's 300 only in the best case scenario and if they're all online at once always.) I know its supposed to be a hunt and all, but as I said, they're basically making a Bigfoot hunt here, this event seem to only be for those already lucky enough to be chosen.
Even if there's som.e that want to be in ambush constantly, those are still pretty low odds considering everything else.
Might as well just give those guys the rewards and drop the whole "event" idea. |
