It took you long enough to see the light. I lowered my expectations the day I logged in to see my MD turned into a potato launcher. When I finally did have faith in the game again I found out the damn thing wasn't changed based on player feedback, but instead the equivalent of an office LAN party. Finding out that regardless of how much feedback we give, they're still going to pull this cloak and dagger bull **** behind a mask of transparency. I went though this with EVE Online for 5 years and I'm not about to make the mistake again. If you really want to see change, don't log in. Player turnout is something valuable, even morose than how much AUR we buy don't just close your wallets, close your client and see how long it'll take for them to make a change. |

Every time a new update comes out, they seem to turn a blind eye to important feedback and break more things, trying to fix them when they weren't broken in the first place. Sure, Uprising is pretty, but look at what happened with all the invisible walls, aiming and how they nerfed everything except for the AR to uselessness. Heavies claim that CCP hates them, it's quite the opposite. They got to find out that their primary AI weapon was going to be nerfed to laughable levels. Tankers had to find out first hand that their PG was nerfed, MD users had to find out about the unwarranted nerf because someone got their jimmies rustled in a LAN party and shotgunners... yeah, don't get me started on shotgunners. It's a sad state of affairs when simple core mechanics have to suffer when a developer gives the message of transparency, but decides to do what they want anyway. If this doesn't hit home yet, wait until next week, when fused locus grenades start selling on the market for isk. |

We have olnly 6 maps, and only 3 outposts after all this time, yet we're suppose to pretend we're fighting on thousands of unique planets. Not enough environment textures, skies, surface infrastructure, or outposts to keep things interesting, and the actual maps are boring unlike the canyon map we first saw in Skirmish 1.0
The game modes is likely the worst part IMO. Only 2 modes, and generic boring ones at that; adding a bunch of variations of the same damn modes doesn't count as new modes. We had something great with Skirmish 1.0, but instead of balancing and fixing it, they decided to scrap it completely.
Frame rates still suck, still hit detection problems, still crappy controls. Dude, you used to be the most positive person on the forums. I kind of felt ashamed when I broke before you did. What was your breaking point out of curiosity? |

I feel like they rushed to put Uprising out and took priority over that cute little 5/14 release date, foregoing the core gameplay issues while focusing on fluff. Dust 514 is pretty, but without matchmaking, tutorials for new players, incentive for veterans to participate in (a stable) PC and a rewarding FW to stay out of public matches, proper weapon balance, more content for heavies so they can be balanced within their class rather than being brought down to the standards of the smaller frame suits and light weapons, incentive to use vehicles to the point that AVers feel rewarded when defeating HAV, proper controls for dropships while generating WP for their support parameters, and a plethora of other problems everything is a waste. It's like they're more concerned with making sure the decorations for the house their building is more important while they lampshade the steadily degrading foundation. |

This is the problem. That female scout's breasts look good under dynamic lighting, but I have to fight the controls and terrain more than the guy in front of me. CCP needs to get their priorities straight. Just look at the Feedback section. I've seen more dev responses to stuff about trees and flowers over core gameplay issues. It's very discouraging when you articulate an important point that would benefit the game as a whole, but it gets handwaved for stuff like custom dropsuit colors and lens flare. |
