I'm pretty sure the list of 100 got delayed past their normal business hours, so that could have had an effect. Its also rumored to be colored, so that may also delay it thanks to the colorless text on this forum...

Looks as if I will be able to make vidoes of the "Templar" suit build...awesome. As for being hunted......I am used to that, people see lowratehitman and are like.....Im going straight for him.


As far as people complaing about the sp given to allocate on the suit........chill the hell out and wait to see what the suit is even about :)

Im sure it just has normal stats, but just looks different. If its anything substantial people will complain an say, "Thats not fair they are the only ones to get it, considering every other weapo0n and suit it completely broke in some way." or something along those lines.

im still curious whats going to be done with 2m sp vs all the beta players... still seems underwhelming to me... there is little to no incentive beyond the required 20 matches aside from reaching the WP goal.

300 templars... the 100 PSN community members i dont expect to finish the event... getting stomped by an underwhelming character in EVERY match they play...

leaving 200 DUST Templars, of the 4-6.5k players online, IF every templar is online at once, that means 0.5% or less of the online community is Templars... pretty slim pickins finding them

then you have to count that you might be on the same team, so your chance to get credit for the kill just got cut in half...

the 4 different public play modes reduces your chances of finding them further... but at the same time increases the likelyhood of not running into the other players... this point kind of balances itself out so long as you have templars actually playing somewhere in your prefered play-mode.

but by my math, you have a pretty slim chance of even seeing a templar, not to mention the seemingly low requirement for them to play. it is admittedly higher than the human endurance events requirement(average of almost 7 matches/day up from 5) but it is easily attainable in a single day if you have time to play all day on a weekend.

and they have no incentive to play beyond their match requirements because the SP does not carry forward, meaning a rookie should focus on their own characters(templars are to be deleted automatically at end of event if i recall), and the limited SP on the accounts make them pretty terrible compared to most beta players main character...

still not impressed with this event... i feel it could have been managed better... and they could have done something really cool with this event too... such as new weapon introduction, or the introduction of new suit or vehicle lines... introduce a 'prototype' or 'secret' weapon with lore over a weekend or even full weeks span, let some players get hands on real time test, allowing for devs to do some tweaking and balancing of the future mass production(read final version) models. rather than just issuing vanity skins... unless these templar suits are somehow improved over standard isk versions, they arent a terribly spectacular reward, considering they made Standard and Advanced variant suits fairly sustainable...

So get them into pc battles and have a chance at receiving some of their suits as rewards for killing them. Maybe not worth losing a district but to collectors down the line the items may be worth something.

Will the Templars be able to keep ISK earned from battle?

If so we would be more likely to play LOTS of instant battles over the required amount.

Yea I even requested them to higher the amount of people. 200 people out of thousands gets all kinds of special bp gear really great for the rest of us huh. Believe me ccp the rest of the thousands of players love this. How about an event we can all benefit from if were involved. I'm pretty sure most players wants gear we get isk every day! I personally fell thrown out to the dogs, seeing as how I cant get gear, or play dust to participate.

The chances of coming across any of that people in a PUB match, is about 10%, or less.

Kind of a bummer because the only thing I had to do today was go to a graduation. T.T Anyways, I'm going to play as much as I can when the templar hunt starts. Which means somebody out there will be getting easy kills. -_-;

You know it's really stupid how they would do this in the most disorganized matter. Btw there's no doubt that at least 60% of the people are in the average at the top of the leaderboards. Do you really think they were really going to skim down everyones names and say " Alright put this guy and this one( then keep scrolling down) and this one and that one". No most of the time they would just pick a bunch of people mainly at the top of the leaderboards and say " Alright let just pick these people from this rank all the way up to so and so and the rest we'll pick a few random people so they wouldn't catch on. The fact that I wasn't picked was obvious yet at the same time expected, but I don't care. I'm speaking for those newcomers when I say "I for one believe that some of the else Should get a shoot at something big like this every now and then and not some big shot who doesn't need a boost to make them more elite and so then they won't show off to everyone else because they think they're better in every way ".

Mountain time= time zone. And I suck. I was on the top half of battle academy but I'm on the lower half of everything else.

Hm CCP didn't list the 100 from the Sony board.

Anyways BHD is going to be running 2-3 squads of Templars for 2-4 hours every night during the event, as well as have a smaller amount of people playing for 5-6 hours a day. Should boost people's chances a bit. Good luck hunting us.
