I can't tell you how many times I melee in the air instead of shooting someone. There is never a situation where I would want to melee, ever. |

I don't 'think anyone at ccp has ever played a fps. all of the controller layouts really suck. I'm currently using the "battleground" layout ( or whatever it is) to use r3 as crouch. Which moves melee to r2. But why in the hell they. Don't let us bind our own keys I don't know.
I would really love to use my controllers triggers to shoot and aim my guns and the bumpers for 'nade and weapon switch... |

I just wish I was able to change the run button from L3, to me its incredibly annoying having to press L3 while moving, maybe if I could just press it while still, having to press it while moving is just annoying and an easy way to quickly wear down the analogue stick. |

I do this a lot in intense battle, and more often than not that melee makes me lose my suit. |

I custom mapped "run over player with LAV" to R1 and it's been working smashingly. |

I want to unbind the R3 button as well from the melee. It gets in the way of my knife attacks because my thumb instinctively presses R3 in a hectic fight. I understand one can choose the pre-selected layouts to compensate, but those other layouts don't suit me well. |

how are you guys having a problem with the layout..... it's a fairly standard layout....... also I've never once melee'd when not trying to nor have I started running when I didn't want to nor do I find it bad that I had to press down L3 while moving. as most people would agree sure custom mapping sounds cool and all but like faces for our merc it should be fairly low on the priority. only controllor problems I've had is buttons on the D pad pressing when I press L3 which is due to my controller not the game |

I want to build a melee minmatar scout or maybe assault, focusing on killing people with just melee, but the stick is unreliable and awkward... :( |

I'd like to customize the controls myself as well. I don't like ANY of the preset schemes. I'm used to being able to alter the control scheme. I hate having anything remotely important on a stick-button too. |

The amount of times Melee has been the difference between me walking away victorious, after running out of bullets on both my primary and secondary, and having the opposing player reload his SMG quicker and mow me down, is insane. Melee is a godsend, and now you guys are moaning about that too?
