I'm pretty excited for this as I will be either elated or devastated to see if I have or have not a Templar character tomorrow morning.
Me being an Amarr devotee (yeah I'm into the RP aspect of EVE and DUST), I'm really excited to see some Amarr love - hopefully this will be an awesome and exciting event tomorrow.
P.S. - All you people in the red can't hunt the Templars to get 2.5mil ISK - so uh yeah...silver lining? |

Meh, unless I get a Templar it will be boring, also 200,000 SP is pretty low for a reward for perusing 20 matches. Plus I AM a member of the Amarr Templars corporation, so I'd best get it... |

Eh? There isn't any SP reward. IIRC, the special Templar characters you get given for the event will have 2 mill unallocated SP and have to earn a minimum of 20,000 SP in a minimum of 20 matches to qualify for the reward of a bunch of Amarr drapsuits.
EDIT: Where's that damn list CCP! I just gots to know! |

I would honestly be crushed not to be one since with Uprising all I've ever done is campaign for the Amarr. Havent fought an FW match for anyone but the Amarr or Caldari, haven't used any Minmatar equipment, even restarted a three week EVE toon just so I could make him an Amarri character.
I mean this Amarr Templar Armour stuff that were supposed to get.... sounds so cool and yet improbably going to have to buy the Collectors Edition of EVE to get it.....

I'm almost 100% that who we are and what we have done plays no part in the selection. Or else we will have 100000 threads tomorrow about favoritism along with the 100000 threads about negative isk |

to be honest i don't even understand it.
All I know is only a few random people get to participate and it has something to do with the most boring part of the New Eden universe: factions and about the most boring faction of that most boring part of New Eden.
Why not just let us be friggin mercs and have the damn event be about being mercs?
And wasn't the last event about the lame Amarr Endurance festival?
Mercs are the least fleshed out part of New Eden and it seems every chance CCP gets to flesh them out they run screaming to talk about the f-ing factions. |

That they turned there back to the Amarr faction.
