CCP messed up to begin with... YOU HAVE TO HELP THE POOR BUGGERS.

For other cases there's the ticket system. To many threads about the same crap!

Eve players do get negative wallets on occasion, but that's only because they were caught red handed dealing with bot users or illegal RMT (real-money trading) operations.

I myself would have probably extended down the route further; possibly something along the lines of 'greedy sh*ts'.

I know, but I still wish we could get some lolz from scammers or whatnot. I know, lolz come from the scammed in Eve, though it would be funny to see it happening to both parties. Also, people caught in RMT shouldn't be put into negative wallet, they should be outright deleted from existence (their Eve existence at least)

However, the amounts varied wildly and favoured the vets, based on the threads I have read and chat on voice comms, and needed to be recalled. If proto stomps were bad before it would have become a nightmare if we got to keep the Isk. It would have also encouraged new players to skill into the proto suits but ignore the core skills just because they would have had the Isk to buy a couple of hundred of them. I am guessing the noobs to this game would have received less than 30 mil Isk. Now compare that to me who received 350 mil Isk. Now I can field a fairly well balanced proto suit with decent core skills. I am assuming most vets can probably say the same thing. So what do we think will happen when a noob in his brand new and expensive but badly fit proto faces a vet in a well balanced racial Proto. Particularly a vet who is a good FPS player, unlike me. We could lose 10-100 suits for everyone of theirs and we would still have (hundreds of) millions of Isk in our account compared to the new player who is back at square one. Now some new players would have been cautious and used the bonus Isk wisely but I reckon most would have bought the best items on the market and then used the Respec to skill into that one item as their SP wouldn't have been enough to do much more than that. In the absence of the bonus Isk most players learn to be cautious with their earning and build up their core skills first to protect their current fittings to make their Isk to go as far as possible. Bonus Isk just encourages spending sprees, which would have been fun, but the advantage would have gone to the vets and led to most noobs losing all the cool stuff they had bought without effecting the vets at all see they would still be rolling around in all that bonus isk.
