 not really. What in the world is this game coming to?
We as players cant even make our own isk go into the negatives, but somebody fucks up , and all of a sudden the isk gets taken away.
If somebody drops $100 dollars on the ground, and I pick it up, that **** is mine! They are not getting it back.
I feel like I was shot and killed for that $100 and was left with pennies in my wallet
Me personally though, I knew something was fishy when I had an extra 100 Million in my wallet ( I never spend more than 5 mil a day)
I have well over 100 million in my wallet still. |

I don't think the analogy is the same... Somebody didn't drop ISK in space and people found it... It's more like the bank accidentally gave you $20k and you went out and spent it before they could fix error. Now you are going to jail though not having -$20k in the balance. |

Easy fix for the ISK issue:
CCP offered an optional respec, they need to do the same for the ISK. If you went into the negative, CCP should offer a reset of ISK. Submit a ticket and your ISK will be reset to whatever it is when you first create a character. I don't remember the amount off the top of my head.
After implementing the reset, CCP needs to start having in game announcements, something that gets sent to your mail. New players don't exactly know to check the forums every day. |

CCP is offering a fix. Petition them and they will refund your ISK, and take any assets you purchased with them. Don't be surprised if you're now negative in gear though. |

I myself did not get any extra ISK, but I'm sure you're speaking generally when you say "you."
Yes, it'll be like starting over, and it'll have to be. You'll have the SP so it isn't that much of a loss. Especially when you can make 100's of thousands of ISK per match. Run in militia gear and the only risk you face is dropping your KDR. I think people would rather start all over financially than they would regarding their SP.

Also, most of us talking about bank rules are explaining why such an erroneous deposit into your bank account doesn't make the money yours. Also, there are various legal means that banks and other entities can use to retrieve said erroneous deposit, among other debts.

Actually if you're a vet, and you know the specific build that you're looking to use, and the specific playstyle and niche that you're looking to fit, and you've been told by a GM that your ISK will be refunded, and you sign on to see your ISK has been refunded; it's very easy to spend that much money in a very short amount of time.
As I've said in a number of other threads though
