Amarr assault is probably the best all-round assault suit. You're slightly restricted to laser weapons, but trust me, with a scrambler rifle fully specced, you will be one-shotting other people. |

I love how you have the last name of one of the Amarrian Heirs and also defend their gear.
Biased much?

Although I do like the Amarr, their assault suit is honestly the best of the four. Ask anyone else. |

That said, I use a lot of Amarr hardware myself in EVE, and I like the SCR. Have they changed that heat bonus to apply to the SCR yet, or does it still only affect overheat on the Laser Rifle? |

wait for incoming tac nerf next week, SCR range buff SoonTM, and damage falloff in the next major client patch (3-5 weeks).
At which point the scrambler rifle will be extremely competitive. Now the big issue is... does the amarr assault actually help SCR heat build up? Its intended to, but is it bugged? Cause caldari assault reload bonus is not working either.
imo, no you arent screwed at all. Just start working on levelling your laser weaponry to take advantage of the bonus, and soon youll have caldari logis fleeing in panic from your shield wrecking SCR |

I went full proto Amarr Assault, proto SCRs, Level V in armor plates and reppers, and Level III in shields and shield extenders - I'm a walking fortress.
The higher PG and CPU values are a nice bonus (and also newb friendly), but as stated above, you are limited to laser weapons due to its racial bonus. |

Because I put an enhanced shield extender with an enhanced light damage modifer.
The highs with Amarr is great for using damage mods. |

As a dedicated Caldari player since EVE's launch and through into Dust, I still think Amarr stuff if EASILY the best stuff out there with the most versatility. You sacrifice it for having the slowest suits by FAR and are easily out maneuvered just like in EVE, but you make up for it by being able to take the hits and put out incredible firepower fast. Considering you blast down armor like no ones business, adding in some Flux Nades means you're oh~ so deadly.
With the upcoming nerf to TacARs and the buff to scramblers, it's no surprise i've seen a lot more medium Amarr suits around these days. |

Amarr weapons SUCK at getting through armor - they deplete shields quickly.
At least until the ammo choices come about, Amarr weapons will devastate shields but tickle armor - I suggest you carry fused locus grenades. |

if u like to "hybrid" tanking, Armarr will be the best suit, it got max. 918 EHP with Rep. but with speed penalty, which make Armarr suit feel like a Heavy suit. I ' ve been trying out and got 441 shield and 477 armor with 6.5 HP rep.
SCR is great too, but has little too much recoil which make it unable to stay on target. |

I love the Amarr suit is all its aspects. Its the coolest looking, most balanced tanker, with some pretty sweet bonuses. Personally I fund that it is amazingly durable in fights, however you have t watch out for those minmatar bastards with Locus Grenades and Mass Drivers! |

They tend to be a the worst players who wear them and die easily....so yeah they are the best to shoot at. |
